A while ago patch 1.3 was released for Skyrim. Since then some major issues have been fixed including but not limited to backward-flying dragons.
However it seems that the dragons are not fixed entirely, I have had a few problems regarding almost all the dragons (exept for story related ones and the ones guarding the word walls).
The dragons in question wont attack or land, ever, they simply circle around and roar untill they get bored about ten minutes later and fly away. "Ahh but can't you simply shoot them with arrows or fireballs?" you say but no I can't since most often when I hit the dragon enough times it just flies away and if I by some miracle manage to kill it (wich happened once) I don't get it's soul, it's corpse just lays there forever (I assume).
"But maybe it's not a bug that the dragon won't attack you?", Then Bethesda really made the game boring for me since when I say that they wont attack I really meant they will never attack.
Also worth noting is that the dragon battle music never starts and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game two times. deleted all my old save files and started new characters every time I reinstalled.
