Definitely being a werewolf is better.
The positives of being a vampire just aren't enough to justify the negatives.

I'm trying very hard not to laugh, but this is punny.

5) You can get a Daedric artifact that lets you use Beast Form twice per day.
Wu-wu-WHAAAt?
Where? WHEN!?
I'm sorry, I can just go look it up.
Wow, that's AWESOME

Werewolf, but I didn't know which "team" that was. So I voted for lame twilight reference.

I wish it felt like more of a "curse" though. Since you are in full control of it, it's really just a tempary buff. I would love a mod that takes away the ability to control it, so you have to hide when you know you're going to transform.

I will go Werewolf simply because the cons outweigh the pros when it comes to Vampirism. You should have a big strength and stamina increase as a Vampire. That would make it more worth it.

Also, anyone remember the movie Van Helsing starring Hugh Jackman? Or the game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow? Remember how the Vampires could go into their "bat" form where their muscle mass increased slightly, they sprouted bat wings, and their faces deformed into something a bit more bat-like?

Now THAT'S my favorite kind of Vampire. Subtlety is great and all, but when the battles get tough it'd be nice to have a fall back.

Raj has been both, was real pain in Wife Mjolls neck! Hahaha!

Ok, I stop with horrible puns before someone try to stab Raj.

Think Werewolf is better. Much easier. And people only freak out when you change.

Not like being vampire. All the feeding, and you cant go into the sun, and you develop horrible addiction to moon sugar!

Ok, Raj was addicted to moon sugar long before he was vampire. And i never go out in sun anyway. Hurts when i forget turn night eye off.

But Wife Mjoll says im best as neither. she say, "You shed enough as is", and, "Touch my neck one more time!". So Raj touch her neck when she not looking.

Still have limp.
This made my day - and inspired a new character.

END OT

BACK OnT:
Werewolf when my power gamer personality is in control, vampire when my role playing and immersion loving personality takes over.

Werewolves are the dog's bollocks. I ain't telling tales, though I may be barking.

Hircine is your man there. Be aware, you can end up with either the Savior's Hide or the Ring of Hircine when doing his quest (or both if you exploit a glitch)

Edit: More bad puns.

Werewolf because there really are no negatives, vampires can make Skyrim rather unplayable when a town completely turns on you the second they see you.
Yeah but on the flipside, that could make things rather fun and interesting. If you're into role-playing that is. But if you buy and play Skyrim, why wouldn't you be?
You pretty much can't quest if you're a vampire, everyone in town just goes aggressive. Role playing or not you're pretty much going to be limited to doing solo stuff in dungeons with no NPC interaction as a vampire.
Yeah... I know.. . That's why I said role playing. You're could use the game to role play a vampire and having the realism that most people WILL attack you when they notice is fun. If you like that sort of thing. You clearly wouldn't ^^

Vamps take extra flame damage, since I've been getting my ass kicked by every moderately powerful mage in the game that's a no-no.

Another reason would be that I took my werewolf protagonist into a vampire cave and wiped all but one powerful mage vampire out (what is it with magicka that kicks my ass so much?). Even though, ultimately, I lost, on proportion I won. One werewolf defeating 6-7 vamps in close quarters combat, all at once. Who wins?

Werewolf stun lock powerattacks have save my life. Sure vampires are cool (when not from twilight) but the negs to being one just makes it not worth it.

Just get Cursed Hircine's ring and never complete the deadric quest for it after you become a werewolf.

EDIT: I like wolfs but I find sneak attacking is more effective in dungeons so I'm gonna be a vampire... (Currently only being a werewolf to do the companion's questline)

If it were a game that focused on sneaking and combat taking place entirely during the night I would be a vampire.
But Weres have no weaknesses. Also isn't summoning something you can get anyway?

I haven't played Skyrim yet, but from what I've heard and seen, I will most likely be a werewolf. If only because you can't go in the sunlight as a vampire and that really bugs me. Oh, and Team Jacob: because real men don't sparkle. =3

So, maybe forced transformation during night like in Morrowind's expansion Bloodmoon? Maybe like in Bloodmoon forcing you to feed every night or you get weaker? I do agree that it should feel like more of a curse.

Cursed Hircine's Ring is just too random. Very little warning beforehand, so that get kind of frustrating.

Werewolf.

It's fun to be a werewolf. Being a vampire in Oblivion sucked so hard, it pretty much put me off the idea permanently. Getting hurt by sunlight - pfft. I much prefer having the option of turning into the biological equivalent of an industrial chainsaw at will. I'M A FURRY MEAT GRINDER! YAY!

I'll answer the poll as soon as I find out which of those two Twilight boys was the werewolf again.

EDIT: OK, it turns out I'm on Team Jacob. (Now THERE'S a sentence I never thought I'd type.)
