I will be going the standard male Nord on first play through. They come closest to my actual appearance and they're very Celtic/Scandinavian which suits me just fine. Also it's Skyrim, land of the Nordic folk.

And it'll make a change from my Oblivion character, who was a Redgaurd. I chose Redgaurd because of the stats. I'm glad to hear they got rid of that class system. Now I can be who I want.

Also.... I want this game now. NOW DAMMIT!!!
