EDIT: THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A POLL, i dont think skyrim sucks it was supposed to be a poll where you chose e.g option one is 1) option two is 1) and 2) option three Is 1) and 2) and 3) option four is 2) etc

Since I'm not that hyped and I'm nervous about the game, passing the time is easy as I just go on with my usual schedule. Usually without even thinking of Skyrim except in terms of my budget.

1. Yes, I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition off Amazon. I normally don't do special editions, especially $150 ones, but in this instance I give special exception. This franchise always pushes forward, and their entries are always "50 Games in 1", with hundreds of hours of playtime. Worth it.

2. Yes, very. Though I'm torn between slowing down the hype-train so the wait doesn't feel as long, or going full-throttle to get ultra-psyched for the 11th. Decisions decisions.

3. Not really. I'm playing BF3 multiplayer, and enjoying the hell out of Uncharted 3. I -may- read some fantasy novels, and/or watch some fantasy style films before the 11th. Now might be a good time to finish reading Game of Thrones. Winter is coming.

4. There is nothing, absolutely nothing that could take Skyrim's place on my playlist. Nothing.

5. Blasphemy.

I know it'll be great, I'm a huge fan of Tamriel. The game could just be a re-textured Superman 64, but as long as it has more lore and history, I would be satisfied.

It's weird how the series has turned from a roll-based RPG to an "adventure sim", though. Not a complaint, just *slightly bothered* that Beth has completely alienated their previous demographic.

However, I am almost certain that it won't dethrone my current GOTY (Dark Souls, no trolling intended), but it will be sick. No doubt.

4) Definitely Saint's Row 2 and GTA 5. If there's anything on par for how hyped I am for Skyrim, it's GTA 5.

2) Meh. I know it's going to be awesome and make me lose whole days, and when your expectations are already set like that, it's hard to get really "hyped".
3) Nope.
4) I got Arkham City on the way. Now I'm just waiting for Skyward Sword, Bioshock Infinite, Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm and TERA. Those are the only games I'm really excited for, quite honestly. Oh, and whenever Valve decides to finish Half-Life 2: Episode 3, that'll be great too. I thought about getting Rage, but it's not that high on my list.

1) Yes, actually the first game I've ever pre-ordered.
2) I wasn't at this time last week, but I saw a bit of gameplay and the voice actors they've gotten and I got too pumped. I was up for an hour later than I would have liked last night because of it.
3) Not really. I replayed Assassin's Creed 2 (I have the feeling it's gonna be a game that doesn't age well) and was considering getting some weed for the first time that I played it, because that would completely blow my mind, but I made a plan to stay completely drug free till I'm done with my college classes and get my EMT license.
4) Modern Warfare 3 is sitting on the back burner because of this game, and I'm pretty sure a friend of mine will let me borrow the new Assassin's Creed when it comes out.

1) Did you pre-order Skyrim: No, Day 1 purchase is likely though especially if my D&D session gets cancelled and frees up 6 hours as is expected at this time. There is no incentive to pre-order this game and so I'm happy to wait for initial soul crushing bug reports and player reviews.

2) Are you still hyped: No, my hype faded shortly after the first trailer release. This game feels to much like Oblivion as I learn more about it...that's got me worried as I consider Oblivion to be unplaybly bad these days.

3) Are you doing anything out of the ordinary to pass your time for the wait: No. Playing games as I typically do. Uncharted 3 followed by Ghostbusters and as always, Rock Band will occupy my time.

4) Other games have caught my eye: I'm hyped for Diablo 3, Skyward Sword and Arkham City (PC), right now, in that order.
