Despite the weather telling me it's winter, I can't help but have a craving for some good ol' fashioned frozen type drink. I get mine from 7-Eleven mainly, but I'll also get them from the store on campus if the opportunity arises. Where do you get yours from and what's your favorite flavor(s)? Do you mix or are you a one flavor ...Sally? I usually mix 'em, but nothing out of taste. More like, Rootbeer with Coke, or some fruity one with another fruity one, or with Sprit/7Up.

My favorite flavor was Slurpechino, the original not the remix, but they don't sells it anymore, so I just stick with Coke and whatever else (Dr. Pepper, Rootbeer) or something fruity. And go!

EDIT: Yes, yes; I'm sorry I put this in a gaming thread! I hadn't been paying attention to where I was when I went to start a new topic. But at the same time, I usually buy a slurpee when I'm going to sit down and game for a couple hours. So it's technically gaming related.

I have never seen a 7/11 in New York, so I get mine from movie theaters or other gas stations. Also, why is this in Gaming Discussion?

I buy slush puppies!
does that entail rolling puppies in the snow and then eating them?

I get slurpees from 7-11 as it is the corner store by my house and it is easy to get there, I hate when they don't have the flavour I want or it is out of order.

Uh... touche Grayjack, but let me answer your question with another question! Do you ever game while drinking a slurpee?

All of the 7/11's in Idaho shut down about a year back so we don't have actual 'Slurpees' anymore.

Having said that I do go to the local Maverick [http://www.maverik.com/] station which is literally a one minute walk away and enjoy the occasional Icee [http://www.iversonmall.com/Dscn0065.jpg]. Compared to a Slurpee, I consider the Icee to have a superior consistency anyway so the loss of the Slurpee is no great loss to me.

Also, I like the flavor blue.

Nope. The slurpee would melt by the time I get home. The closest place that sells slurpees is about 45 minutes away.

The Quik-Stop up here, where they're the coldest.

Best enjoyed outside in mid-January, preferably in a minus forty degree blizzard.

Why, yes, I'm Canadian, Albertan, to be precise. How'd you guess?

Nope, icy stuff with syrup. You can find them at most mom & pop grocery stores, assuming Canadia has those.

7/11 and banana flavor, always. I can't help it, 7/11 is just so conveniently placed on every route I happen to take, and banana is almost always a flavor that I know I like. I don't want to experiment and waste my $1.29 on a crappy new flavor! I worked hard for that money, dammit!

I'm from Saskatchewan, used to live in Calgary though. Now it's Saskatoon for me! Home sweet home of the official CFL team for Canada, as far as that guy on the Olympic news said. Take those apples!

They sell slushies at the cafeteria in my school. This month is currently grape. Which makes me very annoyed.

I get them at a local place called Tad's. Tad as an individual is a jerk, but man, does he make a good slushie. Not a slurpie, a slushee.

It's called "Crazy guy strikes again", officially.

Also, it really sucks when you're jones'n for a slurpee and the machine's busted because the idiots behind the counter don't bother enough to keep the machine's in proper working order. Lazy workers! *shakes fist*
