In Flint, MI (about 75 miles northwest of Detroit) there's about a quarter of an inch of snow on the ground from the snowfall 2 days ago. It's snowed a couple times so far this year, but it always melts within a few days. I'm hoping it stays snowfree until Christmas though. I have to drive from Detroit to San Francisco starting Saturday and I'd really rather not drive through the Sierra-Nevadas in a snowstorm. Plus I-80 closing would be remarkably aggravating.

We had a few inches of snow a couple of days ago. Then it rained and ashed it all away. This is not a New England winter.

Northern Alberta we've had snow for three and a half weeks now, and just got out of a -40 spell that lasted 5 days

It snowed a bit here in Northern Ireland a few hours ago, but due to the wet ground it didn't land. Hasn't snowed since though.

I'm from Oregon in the US so there is never any snow here in the winter.

Just rain rain rain rain, maybe sun, rain rain, frost and, rain in that order.

EDIT: I live in the Willamette valley region of Oregon not in eastern regions

I live in South Carolina, the very concept of snow in December or a white Christmas is absurd to me. If we get snow it's in January or February, and even then it's two, maybe three snow days tops (and I don't recall any time we've had three).

It's snowing like crazy in Colchester, England. Cars are being abandoned on the main roads because they can't get up the hills. Took me an extra two hours to get home from work :( The local authorities have only just realised that it might be a good idea to grit the roads and send out the snowploughs. Shame the snow is over 4 inches deep already....

I'm in North East England and, yes, it started snowing~. Where I live is on low-land so we don't often get snow that covers, let alone enough to make snowmen and do all that other fun stuff. We started getting a little every now and then from early yesteray morning. But at three this aft, we got like a blizzard which covered everywhere within a couple of minutes.

It was kind of like hail, little balls of snow rather than flakes and they were blowing around next door's roof.

My dog's been going insane since. And I'm loving it! (I'm too much of a chicken to actually go out and get my hands wet, but it looks nice!)

Where I live, we don't do snow days. By that I mean: we don't get anywhere near enough for it. Maybe that's just Yorkshire though, haha!

New York City is a warm bubble where it rarely snows. It will snow to the West/Southwest (Jersey), East (Long Island), North (New York, Connecticut)...but not in the city itself. We get all the windchill and rain that a coastal city deserves, but none of the fun (snow=snowdays...).

I'm in southern Ontario, Canada. Yes, it has.

Living in Canada, I have learned to despise snow. God, I hate it.
Try living with constant lake effect snow every winter.

On topic: yes, and it hasn't stopped in a week. Hooray for living in central New York. Well, at least I have SU.
