I don't know, I think it's pretty fantastic to see a row of beaming Biebers along the side of my screen. I mean, I'm not a fan of the guy, he just looks so goofy (particularly when there are hundreds of him).
It does make me sad, however, that I can't move the button away from the bottom of the list... That would have been a glorious way to greet newcomers ("Oh hey, you're new here? Well click that big red button over there by my badges to get the full welcome!").

The extent of my knowledge of Bieber is that he's dating Selena Gomez. As Bieber is so feminine, it gives me hope that she may be gay/bi. So no, replacing him with that guy is definitely not a step up from my point of view.
