Ok, tomorrow the 9th of Febuary Bioshock 2 to gets released worldwide and seriously, a lot of people have been looking forward to it for years. The pre-release reviews have been giving the game solid 9.0s and 9.5s so I think it's become pretty clear that no one is going to be boycotting this awesome release.

I'll be getting the Rapture Edition along with a Delta Big Daddy T-Shirt.

So are you looking forward to it? Are you interested in buying it? Do you care about it?

No. I'm renting it. It's an FPS, I can beat it in a few days. They don't need my money. It's going to sell well anyways.

Enjoyed the first one a great deal, but for some reason this time around I lack any excitment for it. Maybe in a few months I'll think about it

Already got it pre-ordered. Going to the midnight opening tonight at my local GameStop. Just hope it's as great if not better than the first. I'm looking forward to the single-player. Though the multi-player does not excite me, I will try it just to see if it's any fun.

Looking forward to it? Yes
Buying it? Yes, it's on pre-order and according to Amazon, being despatched soon.
As the last two options have made clear, I care about it.

My avatar gives that away I guess.

I am looking forward to the single player only though, I have no doubt I will play the multi-player but it had no impact on me buying the game.

In the UK we only get the normal/special edition and the latter has too many things that don't interest me for me to spend the extra money on it (the only thing I would want is the art book), so I am just getting the standard.

I plan on purchasing it when the price drops for the achievements. Nothing short of Pokemon, Guild Wars 2, and anything by Blizzard will make me buy something full price anymore...

I was thrilled at first when the first teaser came out...
But i'm really not sure anymore... The fact that we play a Big Daddy, the Big Sisters, the multiplayer, feel to me like 2K decided to do every bad sugestion that had been made after the first one... I will wait for more Review before i buy it, if i buy it

Shame you don't have the Rapture Edition on sale as it comes with the game, artbook and a T-Shirt or figurine depending on where you buy it. It's basically a poor-man's special edition (for people like me).

The only way I'll buy it is if they A. Drop the ridiculas secuROM the first was sporting (seriously, that shit actually made steam look good) and B. improve the gunplay infinately (I actually want there to be a reason to use guns), the first had some good moments early on but I lost interest very shortly after the plasmids were introduced and completely gave up on it mot too long after.

I'd love to get it, but I'm in-between work at the moment, so really can't afford it right now. It will be a purchase, just not right now.

A rent for the console in the short term might be do-able, and I'll get it for the PC down the track.

I'll get it when it goes platinum or when the drop the price. The first one was good, though not great, so I'm hoping they improved upon it.

The first one was decent, but the last part was terrible, boring and I never finished the damn thing. That doesn't make me look forward to this one, not to mention it's an FPS which means it'll probably be short and poor value. I'll likely rent it at some point, to see if it's any better than the first one.

I don't think any of the gaming boycotts were based on review scores.

Also no. My tastes have changed a bit, and I want more from a game than the typical shooter has to offer. Nor do I care for the series.

A simple yes... my reason: Bioshock is a great game and you play as a big daddy in this one.

Maybe when the price drops to thirty bucks, I'll rent it before then of course but I won't buy it.
