With sorrow: I didn't enjoy Torchlight 1 at all, but loved previous Diablo. The always online thing has put me off completely though, so probably neither.
Not to sound like an ass (as I've had my threads copied before) but it has been 2 1/2 weeks, and that thread seems to be a bit burried, but sorry anyways.Aeshi said:This exact same thread was made about a month ago... And I say the same now as I did then, Diablo 3 because Torchlight 2 seems to have a feature list written with the nostalgia-blinded in mind.
I'm not saying one is better than the other, one should be better than the other, or one will be better. I'm simply asking for personal preferences based on aspects of the game and I want people to post these aspects and mechanics and see which of these games appeals to my own tastes.Kouen said:Everyone has a Preference though which is what is being looked for in this thread like I just mentioned ABOVE YOUcraftomega said:Why not both.... Ill never understand this disire people have to say something is better then another...
That really isn't the kind of thing to say on a forum that hates Diablo III...VladG said:Considering TL1 was a cheap Diablo clone to begin with, I don't see why I should play a cut-down version instead of the great original.
Since I've also played the D3 beta and I know for a fact that I will greatly enjoy the game, there is NO reason whatsoever to even consider TL2 over D3 at this point.
There is nothing wrong with deviating from the norm. I would much rather be able to see some of the awesome enviroments the team spent years crafting, than to be restricted to only seeing what the circle of light around my character shows.ravenshrike said:Um, yeah it does. It's not really bad and still fits the universe... but it does deviate from the norm.Scow2 said:D3's graphical style doesn't deviate from the "series norm" either.StriderShinryu said:TL2 hands down. An engine that I know will run on both my PC and laptop. A graphical style that doesn't deviate from the series norm. Actually being able to play offline if I want to. Oh, and the great price tag with no concerns about RMT caused problems.
I see the mistake in my post, and it will be changed accordingly.Kouen said:since? since when? since what? since who?arnoldthebird said:Diablo 3, Torchlight was awesome but Diablo has always kept me occupied.
I expect D3 to keep me occupied, and Blizz has not let me down since
The question we may never know the answer too!
I thought her voice acting was absolutely terrible, the fake patois really got on my nerves.snowplow said:Demon Hunter female - HER VOICE, APPEARANCE AND CONDUCT ARE AMAZING. I would want her as a wife.
