Poll: So did anyone else utterly LOATHE the character model overhaul they did for Gears 3?

At first I was with you on that. But after words I got used to everyone having their sleeves out.

Clayton still looks cool regardless.

I actually really liked them. The armor actually looks different for each character now, so you can tell the difference between everyone. Yeah, the sleeveless shirt thing is unrealistic, but what about Gears of War is realistic. In real life those guys would get their faces shot off because they're too heavily muscled to be able to move quickly. Football players do not make good soldiers.

I still hold by my theory that Sera has a higher gravity than Earth, being the reason behind the humans being built like Brick Shithouses. They aren't the tallest people you see in gaming, so maybe the Seran Humans are a subspecies that are built like stocky tanks.
