I'm pretty sure everyone does this to some degree. Those who don't are the ones you have to worry about.

I talk to myself all the time.
Sometimes even full on conversations.
Sometimes myself answers back.
This. I am told it has something to do with having Aspergers.

Captcha: Blah, Blah, Blah.

How myself answers myself sometimes.

Yep. I'm alone most days so I talk to myself mainly just because it's nice to hear somebody's voice.

Just little comments here or there, though. I never have full conversations with myself.
I'm pretty much the same way. I'm such a loner myself that I pretty much have to talk to myself or else I'm afraid my voice will give out on me after a short time actually talking to someone. For the most part it's just me "explaining" stuff from books, tv shows and so on to the room just so I can talk to something.

i don't think aloud so much as dredge up a random memory and i'll explain it out like i'm talking to someone else and they asked why that happened/what it is or was. i know there's no one else there, but it usually helps me remember that event/thing more clearly, rather than just thinking about it. as to the addendum, i've been caught by my family multiple times, they ask me if i'm talking to myself and i'll say yes...though sometimes i actually AM talking to someone else and they seem to get embarrassed about assuming i am... i also do it when i see someone say something completely unrelated to a thread or just say they don't and feel the need to say they don't. i don't type anything out cause it's there own opinion but i always say that if a thread/video etc is about something you don't like or care about, don't look at it. it just tends to annoy me, but replying to such a message leads to pointless arguments so i fume to myself instead.

Talking to myself is normal, but I'm a little different in that I converse, call me crazy. Consider it like verbal masturbation; it's not quite as good as the real thing and I wouldn't want anyone to see me doing it, but I won't complain and I know I'll still be there in the morning.

It is awfully quiet at home so yes I talk to myself....
God that sound pathetic ... Well I have the radio on so that I can hear other voices too ...

It helps me organise what I'm doing, keep myself calm, reduce the feeling of loneliness, and also over the course of this summer maybe more than any other, I've gone utterly insane and it seems like a good thing to do...

All the time. It helps me organize my thoughts and process information. I also argue with myself a lot, and people have told me that I argue with myself in my sleep. So, there's that I suppose.

I missed a trick here: I present a student radio show, so I often talk to myself...
