Poll: So Double Rainboom is out: What's your opinion of it?

I enjoyed the hell out of it.

It was fun. It was whimsical. It was cute. It was pony. Plain and simple.

I think the neigh-sayers are commenting on the teeth, honestly.

I'm going to admit that I am not a brony nor do I like the show but I do keep tabs on these sorts of things.
I thought it was really bad.

I thought it was pretty neat. It was a little reference heavy and all but still pretty neat. The animation wasn't as good as the real thing but that's to be expected and there's budget to consider there. I'd prefer the real series to this, but it was creative and fun and it was neat seeing a pony in the PPG universe and all.

All in all I'd love for these guys to do more...but maybe original material might be more worth effort? Don't get me wrong this is really cool, but...they're just going to always be compared to the real thing and all.

I really enjoyed it, especially the small touches. Like when Twilight imagines what the talent-enhancing potion might do to each of the Mane 6, and adds a straw and a little paper umbrella to the formula just before Rarity drinks it.

I couldn't help feeling that they went just a bit hard on poor Derpy, though. They could at least have let her keep the damn muffin!

My major problem with it is that the pacing is TERRIBLY off. From camera-work to dialogue, expressions to editing, the pacing was all wrong, unfortunately.
Besides that, I quite enjoyed it. The crossover part was a little... perturbing, mostly because it came out of nowhere and I thought it was going to be all about ponies. But I suppose if the creators have other interests, there's nothing wrong with incorporating them into a creation that is entirely their own.
All-in-all, it was very well done! ^^

For a fan-made endeavor this was pretty well done. Good animation, music, and voice acting, but the writing and pacing, while far form terrible, could have been better.

First off, Snowdrop is completely OVERRATED. I don't know what it was but I wanted to vomit through my eyes for the overly dramatic tone.

Double Rainboom on the otherhand was just awesome. Animation looked liked something on par with Studio B and it just ozzes with the creator love for cartoons in general.

I thought it was quite amazing, especially for a fan project. If I had a gripe it would be the awkward pauses in the dialogue that seemed to just pad things out unnecessarily a bit, but otherwise it was a pretty top notch job.
