I googled Fallout 3 and it was among the videos that came up in the search. I saw a little white man on a yellow background and wondered what is it, and now here am I.

Watched it pretty much from the beginning (his first on the Escapist at least). Was on the Rooster Teeth forums for years, and used to hang out in one thread that was full of ex-/b/tards who always seemed to see the newest internet shit first. Naturally, being full of cynics and metal elitists Yahtzee's style struck a chord and he was a regular fixture, and from there on in I was hooked.

Took me until fairly recently to even bother signing up to these forums.

I had a free class, and one of the guys called everyone over to his computer and said. "Here check this guy out, he's pretty funny." And that's what happened.

I really got into Adventure Game Studio about six or seven years ago, and thus discovered Yahtzee's Chzo Mythos games. Which frightened the crap out of me at the time, my exposure to horror in any medium having been somewhat limited up to that point. After that I kind of forgot about Yahtzee until he released Trilby: The Art of Theft, at which point I discovered The Escapist and started watching ZP.

I learned about Ben years ago through his great Trilby games, with 5 days a stranger, 6 days a sacrifice etc...
I have always revered Trilby and he was one of the first adventure based characters I found sympatic and reasonable. At that point I had only played Monkey island and DukeNukem 3d and was looking for something that didn't lose their marbles at the first obsticle.
I was getting into the whole H.P. Lovecraft world and was browsing the net for additional horror adventure games and got instantly awed.

Always wanted to say 5/5 for psychotic horror inspiration for a kid to Yatzhee in some way, but hey... it's the game that matters.
Oh yeah, first time was ofcourse fullyramblomatic and watched his expanding choice of artforms since.

Saw a preview of No More Heroes review on X Play, laughed, and investigated. Signed up for The Escapist 1 1/2 years later.

Was just looking for reviews of games one day (specifically Tomb raider Anniversary) and stumbled across it. Agreed with most of what he said, and decided to watch the rest of the back catalogue.

Been hanging round ever since.

A friend of mine told me about him, but I didn't really bother looking him up until my BROTHER of all people brought him up because a coworker was telling him about Yahtzee. My mind just about exploded when I heard my brother bringing up a game reviewer, so I knew then I had to check him out.

I heard about him on X-Play too. In fact I've been going to the Escapist since ZP started airing on the site but only just decided to join the forums today. The other forum I go to is a tad dull at times.

In all seriousness I'm probably one of his biggest fans ever. Is anyone going to buy his book... or at least pick it up at the library?
