I was talking to a friend about Bioshock being an inferior System Shock 2 with a pretty art-deco paintjob, and the friend told me about how my opinions on the game were identical to those Yahtzee expressed in the Bioshock review. So I sought out the review and it turns out he was correct. To this day that review represents for me a high point in Yahtzee's reviewing accuracy which he hasn't surpassed.
It's thanks to that review that I found out about System Shock 2 since I thought Bioshock was the shit for being original.
Yeah Bioshock is a great game but it's about as original as [insert something really unorigial that is just a complete ripoff of something else here]. System Shock 2 is so good that it's great it wasn't popular as the majority of gamers don't even deserve to play it, they're not worthy.
I've been wanting to get my hands on it, but I don't have any money and I would feel bad about downloading it and I heard its hard to set it up on a current PC.
You could get it ridiculously cheap these days. It was never a big seller even in its day. I got my copy for $5 from some budget bin. Runs fine on XP with no issues at all, not sure about newer operating systems.
Yeah since I'm using Windows 7 that might be a problem and I can't find System Shock 2 at all I've been wanting to play both games I just can't find them.

It's actually quite easy, you do have to download a patch but it's not like "omgwhatsgoingon?"
But when you do get it running, be warned it's much harder than most games today. And security cameras work much differently in SS2
Yes I've heard about the difficulty which I like.

Then go right ahead, but as hinted at by my security camera statement, don't assume everything works the same way it did in Bioshock, because I did that with the security cameras and I got fucked.

Well I came to this website for Unskippable. I only ever heard of Yahtzee because of the crossover episode they did.

Get a store to order it in. It's a title that always available.

There's probably a Windows 7 patch. It wouldn't be that hard to get working.

So I was raving about Devil May Cry 4, a friend showed me Yahtzee's review of it, and bam, converted me after I found out how incredibly funny and right he can be. Of course I take his reviews with a mountainous pile of salt, though after playing DMC4 for around 50 hours I have to agree that it was some pretty stupid game design choices like the timed jumping puzzles with fixed camera angles and enemies respawning every time you fail, or the big board game sections (though he failed to mention the dice trick which makes it a breeze). And now I've been gradually going to other places on the Escapist, and reading the weekly issue.
