This. While I was addicted to Spore, a friend showed me Yahtzee's review for it. I died. Have since quit Spore (for carpal tunnel reasons lawl), and continued watching ZP.marter said:

I was reading Matthew Sakey's colum "Culture Clash", published by the IGDA when he made a passing reference to the fact that Mass Effect was not universally loved. In this comment, he had a link to Zero Punctuation which I dutifully followed.
Matthew Sakey has since written a colum for the Escapist, but for those interested in games as a general medium of expression and cultural advancement, Culture Clash is an excellent monthly read that I would highly recommend.

Kotaku started linking to the videos every Wednesday a while back. Saw the Guitar Hero 3 one first as a result.

Saw the previews for his reviews on XPlay. I think the main reason I came to the site to begin with is because the idea of a preview to a review kinda blew my mind...

Saw somebody post the episodes of Zero Originality on their web site and said it was a ZP ripoff, decided to watch ZP, stuck with ZP.
I also saw the light from X-Play and jumped on ever since. I didn't make an account for almost a year, but it's been a good year nonetheless.
My godfather's a HUGE computer junky. He may be 43, but he knows far more then some people younger then him. He surfs 4chan and all kinds of crap. One day he was surfing youtube and found Yahtzee then showed me a review. He and I found it hilarious and we just continued watching from there.
