You should probably have an option for people who don't go to school any more.
Why should they be interested in this thread? This clearly isn´t directed to them in the first place.

That reminds me, university hasn´t started yet, so I too probably shouldn´t be here.

I abandoned college, after failing 2 bachelors (bio-informatics and journalism), and I'm looking for a full-time job now. I'm saving for a nice little holiday to Australia instead of going to college. I really need a break after those massive failures.

I didn't go.

Because I'm homeschooled, you see.
But even if I wasn't?
I'd totally have skipped school.

I'm home schooled *****!!! No more 7 hour days in that fucking airless bomb shelter called school where everyone hates me!
How does homeschooling work? I'd think you'd get a lower quality education, but then again in the states most parents can offer a better education than their shitty schools.
What makes you think we'd get a lower education? We get to study what we want (or at least I do) instead of all the bullshit that regular school throws at you. If I have no interest in Quantum Physics, I'll spend all my time studying what I do have interest in.

still 23 more days until I go back to uni.
Theres the difference between university and school, you hate going to school, but can't wait for uni to begin again.

Well, I have to go back to school a Day early, I foolishly voulntered for Catering Duties, I am going to prepare the Faculties. "School Again" party, by party, I mean a bunch of teachers complaining about their new students, who they have known for a whopping whole hour. But, I can easedrop on the teachers and hear when the first Pop-quizzes.

not going back for like 3 weeks, and not ever if I have failed my GCSEs, which is highly unlikely :)

I'm not going back until the end of November. I'm on a paid internship until then. Then I graduate in May. Then I get to start paying back my loans. Whee.

I still have lots of time. The first of September to be precise, that is... Dear gods, this is a shocking discovery.

I suppose it's getting about time. Two months of doing nothing but weeding the garden and playing games becomes very monotonous.
Of course I enjoy playing games and being isolated from society, but during the holidays I don't have any excuses! If someone asks me on MSN what I have done I have to finish my message with "/no life".

I wonder with what they'll set me up this year. The last two years involved being with a bunch of attention whoring goons who apparently order their trousers from Plumber's Crevice Magazine.
I chose a different study direction from most so the only person from my previous class that will be there should be one of the moderately sane ones.

Gods stand by me, as the years passed decency among my fellow humans has only withered. They always said "Your study direction should be filled with quiet and nice people like you", "They still have to mature", etc. BUT NO! The opposite happens!
Hell it even happens on TV! All the new drama series my sister watches involve adults acting like toddlers!

My first day at school was a LOOOOONG time ago. Probably 19 years ago, if you don't count kindergarden.
