Poll: So I finally have some evidence that Facebook is indeed evil.

I never made an account. I figure if somebody wants to keep in contact with me they can use Steam, MSN, Hotmail, Gmail, or my fucking phone if it's so damn urgent.

I honestly don't see how email or IM aren't enough to keep in contact with people.

So Facebook is evil for letting you get hacked if I am reading this right? So Blizzard is a million times worse ( just the first company with massive hacking problems that came to mind). A company that lets this happen isn't evil, incompentent or too lazy to protect an unused account maybe, but not evil. If they posted your password and details for all to see you may have a point but not for this.

Edit: It is a good organisational tool, better then calling 20 people to organise plans by far. I have never got the complain about people YOU choose to add bit, Facebook doesn't force you to keep friends who post annoying shit, they allow you to hide it as well if you don't want to remove them completely.

I generally use it as it's meant to be used, i.e. keeping in touch with friends and family I otherwise couldn't due to the Atlantic Ocean being all between things and shit and as way to organise and keep track of events. I almost never like pages (unless they're interesting and don't post the usual 'LIKE THIS PIC TO SAVE A PUPPY!!!!1!! IGNORE IF YOU HATE PUPPIES!!!') so I tend not to get a ton of clutter, other than facebook game related things.

Their evil because someone stole your information using Facebook. That doesn't even begin to make sense. Hate Facebook for legitimate reasons not for something happening that they didn't intend.

I don't really like it, if only because I have to put up with my friends' bitching that someone said something on Facebook that they don't like. I listen because apparently I'm just that nice a guy.
I'm also a former user of Facebook, but stopped using it because it was utterly useless to me.

The only thing I use Passive/AggressiveBook for is keeping up on live shows and events in my area. I actually think every time I read a friend's post I like them less.

I haven't been on facebook since... I believe the last time was... Never.
I don't use it because i have a total of ~10 friends, all of which i see in person or talk to on XBL every week.

Mild contempt. If I were using it more, I would definitely hate it, especially since they forcibly switched me over to that damn timeline format. I'll probably deactivate it soon seeing as how I spend all of my social network time reading the tweets of people I think are cool on twitter anyways.
