Ok . . .Gonna be honest on this one. When you said Madden before going into detail, I thought of NFL players running around punting the enemies in WW1. No, no, you're idea is fine. . . Strategy, yay . . .*Sigh* and not a single punting to be seen . . .

So it's part shooter, part RTS, and uses controls like Madden.

Maybe an unlockable mode where you get to play as NFL players who are ridiculously resilient to bullets and kill enemies by either tackling them or punting them completely out of the map.

Well interesting to say the least. The problem is that it sounds more like a minigame or a browser game. But if you could pull it off well it could be intriguing at least.
