I liked it. Voices sounded solid, no rapping.
The character designs aren't as good as the last cartoon series (TMNT 2012) but they also aren't as horrible the current live-action garbage.
This is why I'm waiting for the GOTY/Complete Edition for this game.
No point in paying 60USD to 90USD for an incomplete game that requires even MORE money to unlock various new characters.
I'm just disappointed mainly.
I was really getting hyped for other characters since Fighter Pack 1 was pretty great. But then 2 had freaking Raiden and now this. I'm not a particularly big fan of the turtles as is, I mean I loved the first two movies and turtles in time but I just really am not happy with all the missed opportunities so far.
You should take solace in the that only 1 slot was dedicated to crossover characters. MKX's character packs had 4 characters and 2 of them were slasher villains.
I have it on good authority that ever since MK9 the most sold DLC characters in Netherrealm's games are the crossover characters, so Freddy in MK9, Scorpion in IJ1, the menagerie of slasher villains in MKX and so forth. Is what it is.
Atleast they're doing a neat thing here, since the Turtles are originally comic book characters. Even though they are using the iconic trilogy/first cartoon renditions of them. Plus, the comic book version of the characters would be more appropriate in Mortal Kombat.
