there are ways to not view adds, that fixes that.
Oh, whatever could you mean?
I assume these "ways" work in all browsers, my school computers all use ie8 and you can't install new programs on them.

I'm not a huge fan of the way I was forced to create a gmail account in order to continue using my youtube account. That seems kinda anti-competitive and rude, and I can't think of a single reason for it. How are gmail and youtube linked in any meaningful way other than being owned by the same company? I'll admit I don't use gmail so maybe there's something I don't know about.
I don't like how when you pause a video it stops buffering, usually I pause videos
to allow it to buffer.
And isn't weird how when you click to an earlier point in the video than where you are, how it has to rebuffer from that point again? Shouldn't it still have that portion saved already? If you replay the video it has to reload it all again? I guess they assume everyone has wonderfully fast internet.
While I know the new site design is optional, I don't like it, Game Grumps uses it and it took me at least 5 minutes to figure out where the playlists were hidden. Also, it used to be obvious when you were on a channel page, now with the new layout channel pages look identical to every other type of page, same layout, same lain white background. Navigating the website is now harder than I ever remember it being.
For some reason embedded videos don't work for me in ie, they used to, but not anymore, I have to go to the youtube page itself to view them.
On the side panel for every video it used to show a list of similar or related videos. Now it uses your viewing history to guess what other types of videos you might want to watch next, meaning the side panel is often filled with videos completely unrelated to the one you're currently watching, most of which you've seen before. You can fix this by logging out, but that seems like an odd thing to have to do.
and I don't even use youtube that much anymore.
