Poll: So, tell us, the easiest and the hardest games you've ever played!!!

after watching many videos on youtube about hard/easy bosses, i thought i'd see what results i'd get with games as a whole. lets see what happens...

my easiest game ever was probably pokemon red/blue. common, knowing the rare candy cheat was a instant winner. loved the game, but knowing cheats does dull it down a bit, still love pokemon though.

my hardest game ever... the first one that pops into my head is megaman zero 2. really hard at first, but it did get easier as you know how to do it, but still one of my favourite games of all time. others do come to mind, but i think the quote from james rolfe comes to mind, 'there hard not because of shitty controls or fucked game design, but because of fair difficulty, they were designed to be hard', not sure if thats the exact word for word quote, but wotevr, long live james rolfe...

anyway, any console, any genre, just gives us your expereinces!!!

Easiest? Halo beat it on heroic in 2 days.

Hardest? Golden sun, took me forever but I did not quit I was detemine, and then beat it and got a stupid to be continued ending.

Hardest was Commandos 3. I never got past the second level, and that was after about 2 hours.

Hm, really? I completed that pretty okay, though I do admit it was a damnsight harder than Comm2 for all the wrong reasons.

Easiest.. hm, would have to be Blue Dragon. What a waste of my goddamn life. Seriously.
Hardest: CoD4 Veteran speedrun. Yeah, really.

You're missing poll options.
Platformer should definitely be there.
Sports games should be, potentially separate from racing games.
Simulation could be another I spose.
Puzzle games.

There's probably more, though platformers are the main gap in your list. Also I don't know if I see a point in separating RPG and JRPG, regardless of the differences they do have, if turn based vs real time was your intended meaning then I suggest putting that, as not all JRPGs are turn based and I would assume there are WRPGs that are.

On topic.
I always had trouble playing Abe's Odyssey, and as for easy... well I suck at most stuff but Spore, Mario Galaxy and the Pokemon games tend to be pretty easy to beat the main story, though I can't say I've beaten them all 100%.

I wish^^. No really, I barely play anything else than FPS and CoD4 was by far the easiest one to do on veteran ever for me (might have been cause I played all the other difficulties before I did veteran tho^^)

Well that would have something to do with it. I really couldn't just handle the grenade spamming. I only made it upto the 6th mission on WaW on Vet before giving up.
Beat MW2 on Veteran though, it was a nice challenge.

Yah, that was my experience with the games too, but with CoD i usually just play for the story and fun of it, not for challenge. Thats what online is for^^

Ugh I found COD4 veteran damn bloody hard. Took me a long time to beat it, but I don't think I've ever been so satisfied as seeing that 1000Gp on my live account...

MW2 was waaay easier, but spec ops on Vet kicks my ass.

On the later levels, that game was hard as fuck..

Then again I was like 5 years old at the time.
