Nintendo opened with a live orchestra playing some of the best video game music ever. That's when they won. Then Miyamoto geeked out over said music. That's when they won forever.

Sony

- Sly Cooper 4: Theieves In Time (I was in tears of joy heard down the hall yelling)

- Seeing Chloe Frazer with Nate & Sully in Uncharted 3 trailer (NOOoO WAYYY!!!)

- Bioshock Infinite confirming the fact that it will soon replace Final Fantasy 9 as my all-time favorite game ever.

- The Playstation Vita (aka, the PSV) at $249.99 making it a must-have over the 3DS and will soon have these games that I must own.

Microsoft.

The only big stuff this e3 was Halo 4 & remake, Modern warfare 3, battlfield 3, sony's splitscreen proof tv, and the new smash bros.

Microsoft had 3 of those, which is 2 more than all the others.

Fable takes the cake, I have not laughed that well in years :D
I think Peter Molyneux could easily replace Wile E. Coyote at this point

I suppose Ubisoft, as everyone was boring and predictable.

I say Ubisoft because they were hinting at BGaE 2, when the showed the first one's HD version.
Other than that, I'd say I'm really only excited for Alice: Madness Returns, Batman: Arkham City, Bioshock Infinite, and possibly NFS: The Run provided the 'on foot' crap is horrible.

I guess I'm just not pumped for Skyrim or ME3, probably won't even get rentals from me. :/

Microsoft, if anything because it had Mass Effect 3 and TWO Halo games in the same 90 minutes. I was freakin out. Kinect is finally starting to look promising, because there was such a variety. From Mass Effect 3's voice commands, all the way to that Rome game, Ryse or whatever, using Kinect completely. Then I went and crapped myself when they dropped the Halo 4 trailer.

I'll go with Nintendo, but to be honest with you either Microsoft or Sony could have snuck the victory.

I didn't watch Sony's all the way through since I don't have a PS3 and have zero interest in their hand-held thing whatever it's called now.

And Microsoft... I went into a rage-induced black-out after Fable: The Journey made it's horrifically unwelcome appearance and only came to an hour later with blood all over my hands.

But yeah, I'm gonna give it to Nintendo this year. They really pulled it out and impressed me. Great support of the amazing Zelda franchise. A bunch of new exclusive 1st party titles including Luigi's Mansion 2 which nearly made the show for me. Not to mention Skyward Sword AND, of course, the Wii-U which I am now going too sell any Earthly possessions I have, and even my blood, sperm and organs if necessary, to own on release.

All of what I saw was pretty boring. Nintendo pretty much sucked ass game wise and I have serious doubts that they even know how to support 3rd party devs and make adult or hardcore games anymore. Luigi's Mansion?! For fuck sake, you have to be joking! The first one was a pile of shit and people think this one will be different?

Sony's was just a huge self high five for 2 hours with a couple interesting games coming down the tubes, so I guess I'll have to pick Sony for the time being but E3 as a whole is just more boring nerd type shit.

Out of the Big Three: Nintendo.
Honestly, between Microsoft "Hey we haven't given up on Kinect. Oh and here's some Halo to throw you guys a bone." and Sony's "Hey, we're now trying to out-do Nintendo in shoving 3D down your throat!", Nintendo could have just said "Yeah, we're gonna keep what we're doing" and it still would have been a better conference... but they didn't. They basically came out and said "Ok, now we're trying to appeal to you hardcore gamers again. We got all those nice games now, AND we have our own awesome games!" And what awesome games they were...

I'd also say EA ties with Nintendo in overall. Battlefield 2 and Mass Effect 3 by themselves were pretty awesome and also announcing they'll be supporting WiiU.

So yeah, Nintendo and EA.

Let's give grades!

Nintendo: B+
New hardware, but not too many games and no news on price. The name is moronic and I'm worried about the controller grip, but it's nice to have online, 3rd party support and HD, even though they're at least 5 years behind on that. Only one new 3DS title, but the trailer for the new Kart was very appealing. The orchestra was nice, I liked the SSB tease, but would have liked more news and would have liked to hear if the 3DS works as a WiiU controlles. They got some points for presentation.

Sony: B
They addressed the PSN, they got some hardcore stuff for PSV, new hardware here as well with the Vita, but nothing new about that. Bad news about AT&T but great news on price. I was excited for Bioshock infinity bundle, will definitely be getting that. Uncharted 3 looked nice, but nothing new here. New Sly was nice though, but not enough. The fact that the move will be used as an aid for beginners was pretty nice as well, and the resistance bundle was appealing. Also, was I the only one that thought the new Insomniac game looked fun? The new TV was also the first time I've considered buying 3D. The new Bioshock for the Vita is very interesting, but compared to Gabe Newell Ken Levine was nothing.

Microsoft: C-
Only new hardcore title was Halo 4, and that series should have ended at 3, and is now gonna have 6. MW3 was expected, and it's getting really hard to care anymore. They focused waay too much on the Kinect, but to be fair I must say that I'm actually a little interested in it. Dance Central 2 is what the first one should have been, and is looking great. Star Wars Kinect was their big game, and it looked like shit. Boring on rail action, who cares? Fable for Kinect is looking interesting though, and the ME3 and Ghost Recon stuff for it was impressive. I have to curse them though for bringing Tim Schafer on stage on E3, getting me extremely excited, and then saying that he's making a stupid Kinect kid's game.

EA: C+
Great games, but nothing new. Also a wasted opportunity for ME3 and Battlefield 3, could have shown a lot more. The Frostbite engine looked great, and really smart to show that off. NFS: The Run however was the stupidest thing they could have done, not showing it would have been better. A huge QTE was the whole thing, it made everybody like the game a lot less. The NFL stars did nothing for me, as I'm not American, and they barely mentioned the game. Hilarious to see those guys there though after saying they don't need any stars. The jab at CoD with the free services of BF3 was great. The fifa news were quite interesting, but hard to get over the fact that it's Fifa. SSX is looking good and that it's using NASA data was impressive, but it's still nothing new. Nothing on SW: TOR was disappointing and would have liked to hear more on Origin.

Ubisoft: C
Typical Ubisoft conference. They definitely toned down the silliness from last year, which I have to applaud them for. The retro stuff was sometimes nice and the Caffein guy wasn't that bad. The dick jokes were actually funny! The new rayman looks good, but not the thing to start your conference with. Assassin's Creed is looking good, but was hoping for more. The new Farcry looks great, and I loved the demo, probably my favourite one in E3. Ghost Recon was actually more impressive in the Microsoft conference, but still good. Driver is looking unimpressive for now. I seem to be the only one thinking Maniaplanet could be promising. No news on Rainbow 6, I am alive or Beyond Good & Evil 2 (later on we hear it's not coming until new hardware generation), very disappointing.

Konami: C
They did have their pre-E3 show so I'm gonna rate that as well. I have to say that I'm disappointed with how good it was. If anyone didn't watch their 2010 conference, do it! It was hilarious in a tragic sort of way. This time it actually seemed professional, and the Kojima reveals were awesome. New engine was looking wonderful, a bunch of new re-releases and transfarence were okay. New Silent hill is looking good as well.

Overall: C
Waay too few games, and not enough wow moments. Only one new IP, OverStrike, fucking pitiful!! Disappointing.

I couldn't really have given a shit what the big companies were presenting, I am only ever in it for the games.

This has been some of the best lineups I've ever seen.

Maybe not lineup, but people are getting fucking unbelievably good at making trailers.

Prey 2 and Assassin's Creed Revelations? Those were pretty damn impressive.

The devs later said they won't be able to release BGaE 2 until a new hardware generation because it would be too big. Seems like it'd be hard to be that big, but if they pull it off, DAMN!

Yeah, I know but it made me happy cause it showed that Ubisoft does want to make it. As long as it's good, I don't mind waiting.
