Although I am a little switched off by the whole "you must have playstation plus or you can't play online" thing, it is still going to be a PS4 for me. The Wii U just doesn't have the games i want and, well, I won't get into it about the Xbox One.
Look on the bright side, PS+ does come with a fair bit of free goodies and they're pretty likely to bundle 30 or 90 day trials of it with the system. Just this month I got Hitman Absolution and Kingdoms of Amalur from it, not to mention a bunch of discounted DLC and PSP titles. It easily comes out in profit for the consumer, provided you download plenty of the freebies and stuff.

From a business standpoint Sony were damn clever with rolling out PS+ how they did an giving it away with consoles and certain games.

It also means no first party season passes, and they did explain why they're charging for it now.

OT: I already have a Wii U and it's looking like a healthy line-up from now through 2014, especially with my 3DS in tow, there's so much great content for the nintendo fan/overgrown 16-bit gamer that I'd be able to survive off it without another console with ease.

Likely gonna pick up a PS4 launch day depending on potential bundles and availability, as well as maybe a few more details about how your account transfers and connectivity with the Vita and such. Looking forward to a lot of the first party content, and the third party content shown is pretty impressive stuff too. It'll be a very nice core machine for my game area alongside the Wii U.

I plan on getting a PS4 when they are released. I pre-ordered one from GameStop a couple of days ago and I am now just waiting for an official release date for it. I seen some of the launch titles for it. Has Sony said if there will be more launch titles later on as the PS4 release gets closer?

None at all. Mind you I've been playing video games since about 1981 and I've never owned a console so why start now?

I don't see what the fuss about the XBOX One is, I can see the appeal of having one device that can do everything, it's the reason I have a PC. It doesn't really seem too different from the PS4 except for price, and you get a kinect included in the Xbox price, so that seems fair. How much will Sony be charging for their camera? I guess if you never have internet it might be a problem, but then if you never have internet you probably have bigger problems than what console to buy. Oh and I don't give a fuck if you can't give all your money to Gamestop anymore. You know what happens in that environment? Steam sales happen.

PS4 and Wii U for definite at the moment. Only question is which one to get first when I have some money next May.

I might pick up an Ouya or one of the little android consoles if they're successful. I really don't want to get a smartphone, so a console for those games would be ok.

And I'll wait a good 10-15 years until the xbone's servers have been taken down. If games are still playable then I'll get one, as it won't have any bullshit DRM then.

I'll buy a PS4 for sure, always been partial to Sony > MS but this gen it's not even close. I am getting the craving for a WiiU now that it'll look like it will have a decent library, and I really want to check out the Willem Dafoe verse, but that all depends on if I can get a job with a decent pay. So for now it looks like the PS4, hopefully at launch

I'm leaning closest to the WiiU but I'm still waiting to see how some of the big names turn out. Fuck 'em if they're crap like Other M, Skyward Sword and SSB Brawl.

So far the WiiU seems the most tempting, but to be honest I don't really want any of them right now. Maybe later down the line I'll buy one, but for now I'm gonna stick to older consoles.

Leaning closest to the wiiU as well. If there are Games that interesst me that won't force the use of gimmicky controls upon me i'll probably buy it.

Multiple for me, I undoubtedly will get more than one although I won't decide which for a while yet. I will almost certainly get a PS4 for its Vita interconnectivity and will almost certainly get an Ouya as well, can't go wrong for £99 and it seems interesting.

Already own a Wii U, and the case for a PS4 is pretty strong... We'll see how it plays out.

Definitely getting a Wii U in the next couple of months as there should be a decent enough line up of games by then to justify it.Whether I get one of the others will totally depend on my financial situation

and a Wii U, if they release a new Fatal Frame game on it.
Highly likely I would say seeing as Nintendo co-own the IP now plus using the Wii U gamepad as the camera just makes so much sense

I really really wanted to stand by X1, I could abide the price, the always on features, the DRM, the sharing nonsense, all the features I would be paying for but not getting in the UK.

I could abide these features because I have some sense of loyalty to Microsoft, it would be easy to continue my live account and achieves and I've always been satisfied with their exclusives. But the main thing is the controller, I've always loved the 360 controller, and the X1 controller only looks better. I don't really like the PS4 controller, I think the sticks are too close, it's too small and it still looks a prototype.

But after 'if you're in the military you can't have next gen' response, that crossed a line. Granted they can go back over that line, but if it stays as it is, it'll be a reluctant PS4 for me.

Never cared for anything Nintendo has produced. Had PS1 and PS2 (greatest console ever), then Xbox and 360. As for xbone/PS4 - there was some interesting games to be seen, but nothing that wowed me....especially when looking past the graphics. The new FF could be good, but FF13 etc sucked so need to know more. MGS5 looks amazing, but i recently replayed the HD version on 360 and they were so boring, though when i played them originally on PS2 they were amazing. FPS games are fine but they dont interest me much to be honest...nor beat em ups. So yeah, not interested in either of the new consoles, well not enough to spend hundreds of pounds on.

Maybe in a few years when the catalog is better, but most of what i saw was sequels. Though, i will say, there were a few games that could get me to buy a next gen console. But im waiting for more information on them for now.
