Not to make lists but Ps3 has free online, which is awesome, and we get awesome exclusives like Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, God of War 3, Infamous 2, and alot more!!! 360 gets... uhm... Gears of War 3?

Anyway, I'm happy with my ps3^^ And I suppose if I'm Jesus, I'm happy for everyone else who's happy with their platform of choice ._.

I own a PS3, 360, Wii and a PC bought all of them for their exclusive titles. So here we go;
-Though, if I'm honest I'd say the PS3 is my personal favourite, the blu-ray player and the non-raging community made me feel like that.
-The 360's Gamerscore system is ridiculously addicting and the GoW series is a nice bonus, if that damned "Red Ring" wouldn't pop up at least once a year I'd might call it as good as the PS3.
-The Wii is always fun when you're playing with friends (or drunk alone) and all the Nintendo franchises are fun as hell, but the graphics aren't great and theirs not enough good games for it compared to the other two consoles.
-And last but not least: The PC... Well it has the best RTS' and MMORPG's, The downside is upgrading it each year costs a lot
Of course I didn't mention everything and I can imagine that theirs a lot of people with a different opinion on this subject (as seen above and below this post).
Anyway, it's always nice to contribute to the discussion.

I mostly use my DS and PSP. I used to PC game a lot but at the moment I only have a 3 1/2-year-old laptop so that's kind of out of the question.

I own all, i use:
XBox360 for Gears of War
PS3 for PS3 exclusives, blu ray. I used to use it for non ps3 exclusives but now I'll be playing those on my PC.
PC is for non PS3 exclusives and online play.
Wii is for Mario games.

I have a PS3, but I use the PC over it a lot more. I don't own many games for it, and since my brother got a new game for Christmas (NBA 2K 11) he's been playing it a lot.

I own a PS3, and I love it. Blu ray, backwards compatibility (I have one of the old ones), controllers that I grew up with, better games (in my opinion), and better performance. Also, free online that really isn't that much worse than XBL, at all.

Yeah, but then again, you could always get a 360 for about 250 euro, and then a cheap Blu-Ray player for... I dunno? 40 euro?

This STILL being cheaper than the 350 or thereabouts that a PS3 is priced at.

I own a PC and a 360 out of those. I sometimes borrow a Playstation 3, and I recommend it if you're an online player, because XBL is expensive.

Thats where I disagree with you.

If you are an online guy, go for Xbox 360. Sure, its pricey, but it is a much greater online experience(you know... minus the screaming 10 year olds).

PS3 is for single player people, much more large single player titles (Resistance, God of War, Uncharted)

Resistance? R2 had one of the best MP's I have ever played.

Okay lets just say that everything you said was true excluding the PS3 being an overpriced DVD player. The PS3 is far cheaper online so within a year I would have not have spent so much money for the online features as I would with the Xbox 360, so the PS3 is actually cheaper. Almost every single Xbox 360 exclusive comes out on the computer and I have been PC gaming for about 2 or more years so I'm not worried about missing a game on the Xbox.

PS: The Xbox has better support? If you mean the online community than that is just shameful.

I really don't care if people prefer the PS3, they have good reasons, but...

The PS3 is not cheaper.
You don't have to play for Xbox Live if you don't want to.
The exclusives don't come out on PC.

If you want both consoles to be as equal as possible you have to pay for XBL, so the 360 is infinitely more expensive.

The only advantage I see is the 360 gets DLC way before the PS3 does.

Actually it's not a Metal Gear SOLID game since Solid Snake isn't in it^^ You're talking about Metal Gear RISING, which is a spinn off, and I don't really care for it because of the main character^^ However I suppose it's fair since Ps3 gets Mass Effect 2 and all^^

Was a PlayStation fanboy for ages, bought the PS3 very soon after its release and used it quite a lot until summer 2009. In summer 2009 I bought an Xbox 360, I have used my PS3 I think 3 times since.
Once to play a Blu-ray, twice to beat Heavy Rain. (Second use being the beginning of Heavy Rain, 3rd being its completion)

When I did go back to use my PS3 (which I had loved and spoken very highly of up until purchasing my 360) I found the whole experience much less comfortable than the Xbox. I don't know why... Something to do with tiny controllers...?

Xbox Live is a far superior service to the PlayStation Network, at least it was a year ago and I think it probably still is based on the improvements made to XBL and the level I can only assume PSN is at. XBL is just so friendly! (I'm talking about the service, not the people that use it...)
Even if you do get a PS3 based on how many people have them, you won't be able to communicate with them in any form comparable to XBL Party Chat. You also won't be able to play with them nearly as well as on Live, PSN just doesn't work as well.
XBLive does cost money, which is a bad thing, but I think that because of this a lot more work has been put into it, so it has better features.

The exclusives are a factor I suppose, but I don't know if any of them are enough to make or break the experience of either console. I could pass on Halo and Heavy Rain, and I liked MGS4 about as much as Fable 3 so... Oh I guess Gears is good, but so is LittleBigPlanet

IMHO I far prefer the 360, I'd recommend it all the way. Bearing in mind that before owning one for myself I berated my friends that had chosen it over the PS3, so you really have to try them to know yourself.

I own all 4.

My 360 gets used the most; I have the most games for it, and I know the most people on it, so I spend most of my time there.

My computer gets used next. I use it mainly for RTS and WoW, though I have a few other games on there I play from time to time; TF2, CSS, Battlefield.

My PS3 gets used somewhat, as I only have 5 games for it; Infamous, Killzone 2, MGS4, Little Big Planet and M.A.G.

My Wii gets used the least, though its not to say I don't like it. Its just that I mainly wait for the big releases (Nintendo, Capcom mainstays like MH and Megaman) before buying anything for it.
