Poll: So who actually gave the ME3 multiplayer a chance?

Yes another ME3 thread.. We all get one dont we?
So i was wondering what people thought of the multiplayer section of ME3
Personally i thought it was pretty good, shattering my pretty low expectations might have something to do with that but whatever.

I've also seen alot of people say they didn't even play it, so i've made the poll about when/why people are playing, rather than just if they liked it.

I was planning to... But the singleplayer is just so awesome! Plus I don't have time to get myself leveled high enough when i've got loads of games just sitting on the backburner waiting to get finished.

UMVC3 is already taking far too much of my time from me. And I am Alive is just annoying me with its annoying mixed messages and mechanics. Survival games should not have so many hints and why can't I jump on my own? It makes "can I make that jump?" into just hammering A next to all the gaps in the room.

The sliding mechanic is kewl though

EDIT: Just tried it, got my Quarian Infiltrator in the starter pack (epic luck activate!) got to level 6 in my first game (started on level 3 due to free levels)

Surprisingly I was actually helpful to those level 15+ guys I was playing with! Mostly because my invisible medic act saved our entire team several times over. My sniper is beyond poor at the moment, is Sabotage worth much against non-Geth? And mostly shockingly of all people were actually bothering to pick up the wittle level 3 when he goes down (once and only once thank you very much)


Oh and Banshees are fucking awesome is there anything you can do once their instakill animation starts? Besides killing it outright before stabby stabby slicey death occurs I mean.

It adds something to the game when you're just watching one of your team get effortlessly fucked up by one enemy and you can't do fuck all about it.

Yeah same here, some people think Bioware are idiots but they got the 'keeping people playing' thing right with the booster pack unlocks. So far the only non human i've unlocked is the Asari Vanguard but i want a Krogan goddamnit.

I've played quite a bit of it. The only classes I need to unlock are the Turian and Krogan soldiers, and the Quarian Engineer. I've gotten lucky with the packs I guess, but I have very few weapon upgrades.

Got three classes to level 20. Sentinel, Infiltrator and Vanguard.

I tried it out for a few games in the demo but didn't like it. I really bored of all the survival games that come out in every game ever since Gears of war 2 had horde mode, there are other kinds of Co-op you know.

It would have been better if there was something to it, but from what I played you just spawn on an empty map and fight off waves of enemies. That sure hasn't been done to death in nearly every single AAA game that has come out recently or anything.

Yeah Banshees are a pain in the ass.Overall though it's pretty good fun.Trying to hang on for the shuttle extract when you're getting attacked from all sides is pretty intense

I played it to get 100% and now when i'm bored and have nothing else to do.

It's not bad but i'm no a fan of multiplayer games so it doesn't have lasting appeal to me.

i really hate how they can teleport through walls and at diagonals, damn thing scared the shit out of me when i didn't even see it coming and tele'd into the corner of the room on top of me.

OT: it is amazing amounts of fun, hell it is the one thing that is soothing away the absolute shit ending that was me3, so yeah, i'll be playing it for months to come.

I'm playing it in preference to the single player at the moment, and enjoying it a fair bit. Not having a great deal of luck with weapon unlocks, and having even less luck with weapon upgrade unlocks, but I've got a few reasonable characters now.

Yes I'm still playing it after finishing the game once.I'm trying to find something that could push me to play the game a second time with my fem Shep,but it's really getting hard and other things seem to distract me(guess the ending really did a number on me).

Anyway,regarding the MP,I've been having a lot of fun with it trying to max level all the classes and it's been hit and miss regarding missions(some high level players really need to learn priorities).

It's actually super fun and really addictive.

And that's before I realized how retarded-good pistol only, charge/nova Vandgaurd was on bronze. Trolololo. Now if I need to unwind, I just boot up multiplayer and become a biotic god.

Also, Melee only Krogan Sentinel is also hilarious, though I hear it's not viable on silver/gold.

I did because I am not one of those people who are boring and refuses to play Mulitplayer at all.

Its fun playing as a Turian but the game has taken to insulting me by giving me no fully auto guns. I got the Falcon though.

I'm loving it, the emphasis on teamwork keeps me coming back to it. That said, screw Banshees, screw them to hell, they are literally the only thing making this Operation Goliath difficult for me.

Yeah, watching a Krogan charge one of them is a sight to see, until he gets speared and insta-killed, then you're like "well, that was stupid, wasn't it?"

I waited until after I beat the game, and wasn't planning on trying it. But there it was. Just staring me in the face. I paid for it, didn't I? I couldn't just leave it be...

So I tried it. And liked it. That surprised me. And I now am level 20 in three different classes (Vanguard, Engineer, and Adept). It feels a bit like sleeping with the enemy when I play it due to me being a "single player only" guy (This, TF2, and dabbling in some fighters are the only multiplayer I've done since...Mario Kart 64). But I enjoy it.

They just need more maps. I like Firebase Dagger, but the rest are kind of crap.

Ohhhhhhh your not missing out on much. Sure I can beat the ever living bugger out of Phantoms, sure I can survive two direct rockets to the face, sure I can run faster than any of the other races and sure I have the best melee animation but it's not that much to brag about.

OT: I played the single player up until the assault on the Cerberus base then played multiplayer to get my readiness level up to 100%. It's really fun and because of the increase in readiness my E.M.S was 6'500 +. Yet I still get knocked unconscious by Harbinger and have that weird ass dream.
