Yup and I loved it, My favorite thing about ME3 was the combat and I play at least 6 MP matches a day. It's addicting

I did at first just to build up my Readiness, but the game was actually fun. There are some hiccups with connections, but overall it was pretty enjoyable when you're playing with a decent team. Easy to level up and unlock stuff, missions are clear cut and the level layouts are alright.
I mostly played it to raise my readiness (Even though the end will suck anyway). I do really like it though but I don't imagine playing it much in the future.
I bought it for the single player, it's the main thing I'm interested in, but I've still played quite a bit of the multiplayer as well. Enough to get my N7 level up to over 100 anyway.
I want a Krogan so much after seeing a Krogan sentinel yesterday throwing everything to the other side of the map. The ability to melee a ravager to death in a couple of hits seems kinda handy.ChromaticWolfen said:

Honestly, the multiplayer isn't bad. I just don't like how you really have to have at least 3 people to have much of a chance, unless both players are really good and/or have supplies. Of course, now that I've made my Vanguard upgraded in charge and general, I can make it to wave 7 solo. But those bigger creatures always end me (geth prime, atlas mechs, banshees, etc).
Quite a bit off topic here but, that's how TF2 usually is with a lot of people. They find a map they like, and stick with it. That's why there is so many 24/7 servers, it's kind of obnoxious really. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with those servers but it makes it harder to find ones with a variety of maps.DustyDrB said:
Back on topic, I think ME3 could really use a better variety of maps though. All of them are vaguely industrial complexes (Kind of like TF2 actually) with maybe the exception of the map on Benning which is supposed to be a town. I get that it's using assets from the main game, but it would be nice to have some unique maps.
Yeah...and mine is a 24/7 2Fort server, which many TF2ers would scoff at. But the community (The Roost) is very mature and a joy to play with. They have added a third server for "events" and variety, though.AlternatePFG said:
Yeah, I wish they would have incorporated some main mission locations, such as the monastery. Probably not the whole thing, but enough. The one map I despise is called Cyone, I think. It's dark, ugly, and I really have trouble with enemies flanking me there.

The existence of the MP had no impact on my purchase at all. I didn't play the demo/beta and didn't even have an active Gold level XBL account. After playing the MP for an evening, I have since resubbed at Gold level pretty much just for ME3 MP. Due to it's repetitive nature I can't say that I will still be playing it a couple months from now but, for now, I'm having a tremendous time with it.
