Switching between Skyrim and Saints Row.
Saints Row is great, but very disappointed with character and clothing customization. No idea why it seems to have taken a step back from Saint's Row 2. Particularly in light of the fact that they make a huge deal about uploading images of your character to their website.
It's like, "Here, you have far less options for character customization than you did in the last game. Why don't you post your rather similar looking characters for others to note this as well?"
One of the funnest things I did with SR2 was make co-op with a friend wherein we both made characters that looked and dressed exactly like we do in real life. That is simply no longer possible.
That said, I really like how neighborhoods are controlled, the upgrades to weapons, gangs, etc. and many other things about the game. That the enemies occasionally have a couple of tougher guys makes it a lot more challenging than just gunning down all the peons. Very much reminds me of inFamous and facing down a large group of foot soldiers with one conduit attacking. Adds a level of tactics that was missing. I never really ate much food in SR2, but I miss it now.
Over all, a lot of fun.
Oh, one more gripe: they keep giving me little help messages long after they are needed, but which block a good chunk of the screen. Running from a gang and cops? Here, look at this message about how you can do assassination missions, even though you've assassinated like 30 people already.
edit: oh, yeah. And every time Shaundi opens her mouth and something other than Eliza Dushku's voice comes out, I wish she had been killed off in the opening minutes of the game. Preferably before speaking.
