I'd do it before I had too long to think about the implications. Statistically speaking my chaces would be good for killing someone who either:

- Was going to die soon anyway.
- Deserved it.

No, I wouldn't. It wouldn't matter if the person was part of my family or a total stranger, I just couldn't knowingly take someone's life like that especially if it was solely for my own personal gain.

Nah you would. Just need to find the right price.

If the price wasn't money related and the outcome benefited the world as a whole, I'd probably do it, but I never would for any amount of money.

Well you can do a lot of good things with a million dollars...

At the risk of sounding like a holier-than-thou asshole:

I'd wonder whether there's an opposite version of this button somewhere.
A button that makes you lose a million dollars but guarantee that a newborn kid will have a long and fulfilling lifetime. If Bill Gates, and the Assar family pressed that button a couple of times, it could have some very interesting results.

I'm sure I could, but that wouldn't negate the fact that I'd killed someone to get it.
What if I pressed it and YOU died? I bet you wouldn't be very happy about that.
Or maybe you would, who knows.... :p

Ahh, but if I died it would make no difference to me because I'd be dead.

If someone claimed to have button that'd give me a million dollars, I wouldn't believe 'em. So no.

I suppose that's true... Unless it was a particularly drawn out gruesome death, in which case you might regret it as you died.

See I assume it's like, a magic button that if pressed deposits a million dollars in your bank account and picks a person at random somewhere in the world and just pops their clogs. No pain, just life ceasing. If that was the case then Hell, I'd probably press it a few times. Come to think about it a more interesting question would be how many times would you press it? I imagine there'd be some, (Bob Kotick comes to mind,) who'd press it roughly six billion times.
