I'd try to find resuce or another source of food for as long as I had the energy. But if I just couldn't keep going, I'd kill myself with the nuts rather than die from dehydration.

Also I could use the peanuts as bait to attract another source of sustenance.

I'd find another way of killing myself, such as with a knife or something. I'm not the hopeful type, and who the hell wants to die of heatstroke, dehydration or allergic reaction? Those are probably the top three worst ways to die.

I'd probably try to eat around the peanuts... But only after I had no options left, first I'd probably try to use the nuts to catch a cute little desert mammal and stomp on it (and eat it). Or just go Bear Grylls and drink my own pee and eat scorpions. I won't give up!

I'd have to say water is more of an issue. So I'd try to find some, but if I couldn't (it is a desert after all)... I'd put myself out of my misery by eating the peanuts.

As for the real debate as I take it - suffer/endure misery in order to achieve one's dreams - I suppose none of us have yet to eat the proverbial peanuts of death...

OTff, if I die in the desert it's sure as hell not going to be from peanuts, besides there's TONS of things to be eaten in the desert, small rodents, lizards/snakes/the possible chance of twurtles... I like twurtles.
