Escapist, I come to you with the most important question of our time. The answer to this question could very well sunder the foundations of civilized society. This question is more important than boobs vs. asses, what size boobs are best (I make a lot of threads that wind up being about boobs, okay?), is tea or coffee better, or even chunky vs. smooth peanut butter. The question to which I refer...

SODA

Glass Bottle?

Plastic Bottle?

from a Can?

Choose wisely.

Also those who don't choose the obviously correct choice of Glass Bottle will be locked up with the rest of the heathens.

Glass. But just about EVERYTHING is better in glass. Or is better being pressed up against glass.

But... that's a topic for one of your 'other' threads.

I am confused, you keep mentioning soda but all I see in the images is pop.

OT: Plastic just due to pragmatic reasons, they can come in cheaper, bigger volumes and are easier on the hands. Plus if you have one knocked into your face while drinking it's the bottle that will be damaged instead of your teeth.

I know right? I walked into this thread not knowing what to expect.

My preferred form of consuming pop is in a plastic bottle. Cans make me belch like a monster.

Glass bottle.
It slightly annoys me how most soda (at least in Australia) is served in plastic bottles. Which is why, here, I usually go with the can. It isn't the first choice, but it is the best choice... for now.

In ranking, it goes like this.
- Glass bottle.
- Can.
- Plastic Bottle.

I don't know why, it might just be this country, but soda in plastic bottles tastes worse.
Could be the heat or chemicals of the plastic bottle. Who knows.

Also, you guys going on about what to call soda. Just weird, but hey, at least you don't call it like Australians... "soft drinks". Soda just has a better ring to it. (And yes, I have no problem calling it "pop" either.)

Apart from that, I need to push the buttons and sprinkle salt over my polar opposite, Fury.
- Flat is justice.
- Booties are more important than boobies.
- and harems can go fuck themselves to oblivion and beyond.

Boom. *Drops mic*

Glass usually makes it taste better.

Language trivia: "soda" in Spanish is used to refer to sparkling water. Stuff like Coke, Pepsi, Crush and those fizzy beverages we call "gaseosa", lit. gaseous. I think the French do the same (gazeuse?).

"Boison gazeuse" is the term in French, though here in Quebec people just tend to say either "Pepsi" or the brand they're talking about.

the ultimate method of consuming soda is in a glass bottle that has been chilled in a cooler full of ice, any other manner is unacceptable

Edit:

the correct term is soda, that being said you are better than some heathens that just call everything 'coke'

I would be willing to compromise and call it 'soda-pop'

Glass. I may be a savage, a philistine, and uncouth, but I still have some standards.

Not sure why you're drinking music from anything, but belching like a monster is the best reason to drink from a can.

It's not the country. Plastic bottles taste worse. Also, the screw caps let out fizz. That's why I'll also take cans over plastic.

Cans... I have a bit of an aversion to. This comes from a bout of the flu where for some reason I could taste the metal in the can.
Ever since, that has put me off.

Glass bottles for... Soft Drinks are almost non-existent these days in most places. (Or, cost about 4 times as much if you can find one at all).

Plastic bottles are my preferred choice, assuming I'm not at home, at which point I pour stuff into actual drinking glasses.

Plastic bottles are OK, but plastic glasses (yes, those exist) are horrible.
Hate the way they feel...

I typically go for cans because I tend to only drink soda at home and not on the go, as would be the case with plastic bottles. I don't always drink from glass bottles, so whenever I do, it feels like a special treat.

Ah, good, I'm not crazy.
I just hate how plastic bottles fuck with the taste. I'm surprised all companies haven't placed funding into fixing these things.

You got me there. I blame harems for this.

I imagine that they choose the most economical route since people seem to buy them anyway. Though now I wonder what the sales figures are. I default to cans not for superiority but availability, grab glass bottles when I can, and resort to plastic when I have no real alternative. It sucks being a caffeine junkie.
