Something is going down in Toronto. If you don't live in Canada, you've still probably heard of the G20 summit. Protests are starting to get heated, the cops have their gas masks on, and windows getting broken, something is going down.
What do you think is going to happen?
EDIT: There are hundreds if not thousands of police officers in Toronto right now.
Edit: They just set a cruiser on fire, *hit just got real (CTV news)
EDIT: According to CTV news this is the first time a riot of this magnitude has happened in Canada (supposedly)
EDIT: 4:56 pm, Tear gas has now been used.
Edit: Tear Gas actually was not used, the police chief corrected his PR person.

Gah.. things like this tick me off. I understand the right to protest and I fully support it even if I've never done it myself. It, however, irks me to no end when a mob under a united banner essentially begins to go out of control and then complains when the police have to step up their level of resistance to get things back under control. As an observer this does nothing to endear me to the cause of the protesters and the only point they're making is that they can't make their point without becoming an angry screaming mob.

Considering how we gotta fight our way through intense blizzards, polar bears, and mass amounts of beavers just to get to work or school in the morning, then repeating the process to get home, this will not end well..... Well, for somebody who isnt canadian that is. Us Canadians should at least have a decent chance.
