Poll: sooo what romance did you choose in ME2

No-one in my first male Shepard playthrough. He goes for guys, so no sweet lovin' for him.

Still not sure who I'll romance in my other playthroughs.

*sigh* once again... Miranda has the body but tali has the personality. Miranda is a *****, straight out but she is smoking hot for a ME character. But Tali has that personality that makes her cool. I always through that a girl stumbles over her words when she talks to you is attractive. I like Miranda when she has her shirt off, but TALI>MIRANDA

EDIT: i saw someone say "i want Tali who will probably make me a sandwich after sex" and i thought that is a great way to put it

Haven't played it yet, but already plan to stay with the original partner from the first Mass Effect i.e Ashley. I just think it would kill Shepard's whole 'paragon' angle if he immediatley jumped into the bedroom of the first willing alien after a simple row with his girlfriend.

Was surprised you couldn't pursue Samara. I tried as fem Shepard on my first time, no joy. Kelly was a little... cardboardish. Eh, a toss up between Thane or Garrus for the achievable.

I think it was rationalized with Tali. They've been together longer than Ashley or Liara and Shepard, and they're both good friends and care about others more than themselves. Only thing standing in the way of their romance is the whole "I'll die if I make love with you" thing. Plus there's the whole Dextro-Amino DNA thing, so fluid exchange goes right out the window. But I'll be pissed if you can't resolve the quarian/geth issue in ME3, or at the very least set foot on the quarian homeworld. You should be able to if you've still got legion and Tali. I have to agree with the "cute nervous girl" thing that everyone's already said about Tali's personality. It just works. You like her because you like HER, not her ass (although it is a mighty fine example).

I stuck with Liara for my maleShep. Had there been an option for Samara I would have gone for it though. The Tali romance was tempting but since there's no way to know what she looks like I didn't want to hazard the chances of a Cthulu-look-a-like under the mask.

My Shepard was pretty much hitting on all the girls in the game. I was gonna settle with Miranda, but I soon found my love with Tali. She just a more likable character than everyone else, and I've known her longer. I like that fact that they never show her face, let your mind do all the work

My friend told me to go with Jack as he was going with Miranda. I did what he asked, but on my proper import playthrough, I'll probably go for Tali or Miranda, or wait to see the ME3 ladies.

I went for Thane, after thinking I was going for Jacob (Man, was he pissssssed! He did angry face and everything) Thane is just so much more, well everything, than Jacob, Bioware wrote him all wrong to appeal to female gamers, imo. Thane is just awesome, everything about him screams ''Love me''! And the 'conclusion', is just right, I mean the guy is dying but still a better love option than Jacob! I wouldn't have romanced anyone but for the achievement (which is dumb, because I don't care about achievements, so not sure what that is about? I think it might be because until I got the email from Kaiden I thought he didn't love anymore :S)
This playthrough I am SO faithful to Kaiden he will feel from the other side of the Omega 4 relay, cos you know, it's Kaiden and he is smart, sexy and the right mix of confidence and humility *sighs* I wish he was real...................

To be honest, I'm not sure to feel relieved that people are focusing on the character development that may evolve into full out relationships instead of how many people on-line they can murder time and time again, or feel disturbed by people's obsession with virtual sex, as though pornography is hard to come by.
