Poll: Spike VGA's. will you watch them?

I hated the VGA's last year. Pointless celebrities presenting the awards. Pathetic advertising, and stupid categories. Best Independent game fuled by Mountain Dew. I didn't make that up, it was a real category. I'll probably end up watching them again this year though. Mabye they'll improve. So will you watch them and what do you think should win GOTY. Nominees: COD:Black Ops, Halo Reach, God Of War 3, Mass Effect 2, and Red Dead Redemption. Easily RDR for me.

I think that I'll skip the VGAs and just watch the new trailers and things of that nature later on. Oh, and my personal pick for GOTY would have to be Mass Effect 2 but different strokes for different folks.

Nope. I'll just watch Angry Joe explain why they suck and how they voted Modern Warfare 2/Madden "whatever year it is" game of the century or something like that.

I've never watched them before, and I don't plan on it this year. If something important happens it'll be everywhere by morning the next day anyway. Also, while RDR definitely deserves to win far more, I'm guessing ME2, as disappointing as it was, will take the title home. Or Black Ops, since people are sheep.

I will just to see how abysmally bad it will be. Not like I have anything better to watch, and maybe me and my friend can sit down and watch it together, and rip it to shreds like we always do with bad media.

Sometimes it can be fun watching a train-wreck.

No, I never watch them. They reward AAA+ games whether they're good or not and it gets old.

I really want to know what the new Bioware game is, but I can always find a video on the internet. Besides, the awards are so dismally biased it's disgusting.

hell no. i watched the first 10 minutes of last year and it was just a boring snoozefest (as are most award shows).

I'm with the General. I'll have it on, but unless Spike has suddenly become highbrow entertainment, I probably won't watch it.

Yes, but only because NPH is in it. I won't be taking the actual awards seriously. Maybe Dr. Horrible will show up to make it interesting. Which means Captain Hammer will be there to steal the spotlight.
