Poll: Splinter Cell Collection or the Team ICO/Shadow of the Colossus Collection?

Both come out on September 27th, what one do you prefer?

For me, I play splinter cell on the xbox and i thought it was not bad but it was not anything special. Since I got a PS3 only last Christmas I have a feeling i would be missing out if i did not buy the Team ICO collection, especially since everyone I know that has a ps2 says shadow of the colossus is the best game ever.

EDIT: Here is a vid of the Team ICO collection. I could not find anything for Splinter Cell.
I just noticed in the video that Japan gets a special box set. Kind of Jealous

Neither. Get the Metal Gear Solid collection this November.

Edit: Though if I had to choose between the two that you are talking about I would get the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus collection. Though to be honest there are a lot of great game collections coming out soon, God of War, Splinter Cell, Metal Gear and Ico/Shadow of the Colossus, and I think a few others as well. I want them all, though money doesn't grow on trees so we have to choose carefully.

Splinter Cell is great and all, but ICO is a masterpiece of truly unique interactive beauty and Shadow of the Colossus is one of the most gloriously epic experiences you will ever have. Get those.

Ahem. GET THE ICO/COLOSSUS COLLECTION. I dig Splinter Cell and all, but Stealth games really peaked at the Theif series. Would you rather play as military-man #55 Sam Fisher, or as a guy named "Wander" who "Wanders" around a world killing BEAST AFTER BEAST culminating in an ending only surpassed by Red Dead Redemption?

Personally I'm going with the ICO/SotC pack because I never managed to get my hands on Ico and replaying Shadow in HD sounds like stupid amounts of fun.

I love the first 3 Splinter Cells to pieces (especially Chaos Theory. That game was Thief-level awesome), but I just beat Human Revolution and sneaked my frellin' brains out, I need something a little more action in my gaming palette for a while.

P.S. Fuck the Metal Gear HD collection. No HD original MGS? Go to hell Kojima! That's the one that REALLY NEEDS A FRELLING UPDATE!!!

Pretty hard choice, I'd say but ICO have created two of the greatest games ever... I'd get ICO personally for the absolute awesome that is Shadow of the Colossus.

Just get Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, for PC or Xbox, it is the best in the series. Then buy the other thing for your PS3. I can't comment on Team ICO/Shadow of the Colossus having never owned a console but a collection of Splinter Cell games would include one great game, a couple of ok games, and a couple of terrible games.

I downloaded all three Splinter Cells from the PS Store. If you are a die hard fan then they are worth a buy. Just note that 1 and PT are VERY poorly optimized, with some ridiculous slowdown despite the aged graphics (which still look quite good) and some widespread save problems(My SC1 save data got corrupted on the last level). If I were you, I'd get just Chaos Theory. It runs likes a dream and has been ported over very well, has graphics that can rival current gen games and has the best gameplay of any other game in the series. If you want try out the first one too. Great, but nowhere close to Chaos Theory.

As someone who has played through Shadow of the Colossus at least four or five times, I honestly don't see too much of a difference in terms of graphics between the original and this. Sure it's a bit crisper looking, but other than that it's not exactly that spectacular a difference. Although in terms of graphics I do think Shadow of the Colossus has aged well. So I guess it's hard to make it look better than it was.

Regardless, I do plan on getting this HD collection. If only because I've never played ICO and it is ridiculously hard to find by itself now-a-days.

I loved Shadow of the Collosus and I've never played Ico but it does look interesting!

Where as I've never held interest in either.

This collections usually drop in price pretty quickly, by the time your bored of one the other will be under £15.

Team Ico collection!

The only thing that stops me from playing those two games on the PS2 is that they really aren't compatible with an HDTV, so they're blurry as hell.

HD versions of those games? Yes. Fucking. Please.
