Considering the last 4 real games made by them X-2 (sucked) 11 (wtf mate) 12 (sucked) and the up and coming 13, which seems to be overhyped and they sold out to 360, what are your opinions on Square Enix. (and yes despite what people say ten was made by Squaresoft)
But besides those "original games" who here has seen the infinite remade old FF games (1-5 and soon to be 6, plus Tactics and Crisis Core)("FF:CC" isn't a remake but its a prelude to the already fine FF:7) Pretty much, Square Enix is riding the coat tails of Square and Squaresoft. That's only my opinion though
Edit: they've even made a cheap FF:T knock off which is called tactics advanced >.> and have even remade that =O
and on a side note, i personally believe the FF7 series has been butcher beyond recognition, and shouldn't be "remade" anymore. PLEASE SQUARE STOP REDOING FINAL FANTASY 7 BADLY, if your gonna remake it, please just update graphics possibly add voice overs and change nothing else.
Please post your comments and thoughts por favor
-How are those the last 4 real games? I figure a game doesn't have to be a numbered Final Fantasy to be "real"
-I'm sick of this 360 BS. What makes more money, releasing a game for one system or two? PS3 owners lose absolutely nothing, so stop complaining.
-So far the only remakes not to add anything worth having were the PS1 remakes, and that doesn't count FF5, since most people hadn't played it. Some may argue the "anniversary editions" were a little pointless, but if I made a game series that stayed popular for over 20 years, I'd re-release the first few to celebrate, too.
-How the heck do you knock off your own game series? I'm very curious.
-Okay, so I can agree with you about FFVII, but once XIII finally comes out, they'll have a new subseries to play with and we won't have to worry about seeing any more.

I have to wonder if they fired all the guys who worked on Star Ocean and kept all the cheesy bastards that worked on the Breath of Fire series.
If the above revelation is true, then by all means it was a parasitic deathblow to a good company.
Star Ocean, Radiata Stories, Valkyrie Profile and the like are made by Tri-Ace, a somewhat separate company that just happens to use Enix as a publisher.
