I'd definitely buy it. The first two Battlefront games on the PS2 are so much fun, single player and multiplayer.

Wasn't that video leaked months ago?
Yes, but very few people have actually seen it, which is probably why they cancelled it briefly. I think they're working on it again now, though, but I'd have to ask Dr. Wiki. If it were leaked a little more blatantly, odds are they'd never have stopped... Every time I watch that video I manage to bring myself one step closer to forgiving them for the prequels.

Ok, I would totally buy this, on one condition. Seeing as I could play as an Ewok or a Guncan, I demand to be able to play as a Jawa! Even Lego Star Wars let me play as a Jawa!

I love Battlefront one and two but a third? No, they couldn't add any new wars without straying from the story and it would be just more reason for all you people to say Lucas Arts is milking the cash cow dry when it sucks, and trust me, the grafics may be awesome but it would be just the same battles again. I wouldn't buy it.

I don't know if you guys have seen the video of Crytek UK's (used to be Free Radical Design) resources and content for Battlefront 3, but it looks amazing. I don't know why LucasArts is being such a dick about it, but I want to try a Poll, then maybe a petition to try and convince them that YES, WE WANT IT AND WILL PAY FOR IT!!!!

If it's by Crytek UK as you seemed to say in yuor original post, I would buy it. The guys know how to make amazingly fun and addictive games (we most emphatically do not bring up Haze here), so I would probably buy it.

The original games were developed by Pandemic Studios, though. While very fun, I lost faith in the studio as soon as I played the irrepressible fuck-up which was Lord of the Rings: Conquest.

So for me it all comes down to developer. Crytek UK? yes. Pandemic? Not unless they can pull something amazing out of the bag.

Yeah I played the demo for Lord of the Rings version. I don't understand why they didn't have a bunch of cpu controlled guys on the field like they did with the Star Wars versions. If they had done that it probably wouldn't have been so bad. You can't have an epic Lord of The Rings battle with only 16 guys on the field.

but yeah I loved the Star Wars Battle Front games. The space batlles were pretty cool. If there was some way to make those more epic like by adding more than just 2 capital ships that would be great.

This is honestly the first petition I've ever heard of that seems like it'd actually work out if filled out, because of the simple fact that Petitions are shit and companies don't give a fuck about them, because they were all demands to do this or do that, but this one just seems like it's going "Hey, look, we know you don't think so, but look at all the people who actually said they'd purchase it, now what does that tell you?", not making a demand, just showing them that people would enjoy it and to do it if they now are interested.
That is, depending on how you do the petition, if it's like "Make BF3 NAO." I highly doubt they'd give two shits.
Also know that if you make a petition, it's gotta be big, Lucasarts won't care if 200 people said they'd buy it, that's too little an amount to really profit, I'd say somewhere in the thousands is what Lucasarts is used to.

Oh god. DO WANT.

My little brother and I have spent countless hours playing the first two, creating story lines as we go along.

I have only played snippets from the first SWBF, but I loved it and this looks pretty awesome. Is that a Jedi fighting with his bare hands? Awesome!

All we need now is Wookies in space. lol
Seeing as you can apparently play as an Ewok, I reckon that playing as a Wookie wouldn't be too far-fetched.
Also, seeing as how you could play as wookies in the second game it seems even less far-fetched. Admittedly, they were an unlockable troop type, but they were awesome.

Woah woah woah woah woah. Stop.

So you can hop in a ship on the ground, and fly up into space?

Please make this game. Like, now.

...

Pretty please?

Uh....of course!

But I would love an Old Republic Mode where you could use the ships, droids and soliders from KOTOR I and II, and since is was the old republic time there would be like 20 on 20 Jedi battles.

one thing that would be cool in a star wars game would be if it was more like a gears of war/call of duty kind of game
