This please. I loved the space combat of BF2 but I wish that they'd made fighting in space more important. Blowing stuff up from the inside was more effective than blowing up from the outside, which meant it was more of an exercise in flying your way into the enemy hanger, blowing some stuff up, dying, and repeating.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Hero-Only map like the Mos Eisley one in BF2 where both sides can only pick heroes. Putting them in the basic maps did somewhat skew the balance.
Playing as Vader as you walked around Leia's cruiser was pretty awesome though.
I'd love to see a SW: BF3. The first two were awesome and I can only hope they'd improve upon them.
This guys idea would make any game worth it. Space battles with more than 1 main ship on each side would also be awsome, also being able to control a star destroyer from the bridge until that pesky x-wing gets shot down just outside the window right infront of you and crashes iself into the bridge devastating it and forceing you to run for you're life....SuperFriendBFG post=9.74680.842738 said:
I hated the heros, except on Mos Eisley assault, they felt so out of place. you could imagine it in Battlefield 2, Rambo turning up half way thru a battle. Id also like to see more maps, vehciles, guns and classes (always my request, you can never have enough!) and multi player coquest
Oh, man i would love to see a BF3 but what they have to do is increase the unit cap to something higher than 16(on each side) cause that just wasn't enough.
They also have to improve the ai 'cause having a transport ship loaded with guys fly into a ship and explode when im trying to fire a rocket at a frigate is just frustrating.
Also i hope that with the clones they add more legions than the 501st legion and maybe they should add some more eras like the mandalore wars but that would probably be niche market stuff, but what i would love to see implemented is a more dark, gritty approach to the star wars combat(think Republic Commando) like with grapples, close quarter strikes and blood spraying on the screen.
Overall i think it would be a great idea, andi would love for all the maps to make a return and the hunt modes(gotta love wampas) there was only three things i had a gripe about in battlefront 2(i though 1st one was perfect) the overpowered droidekas and bonthan spies, no saarlac or tuskens in tatooine and the 501st legion being used for every clone battle.

I think I'd enjoy a third installment if they added some additional factions or races in the game besides the Rebellion and Empire and the few others variations already done before.
Maybe if I got to control Mon Cal's and Quarren on a water based planet, or various Mandolorian archetypes. Throw in the Vong & Bothans while you're at it, and maybe even a pirate faction including Sullustians, Twi'leks, etc.
They have enough fictional era's now that they could pick things from the EU, LofF, NJO timelines.

I dont know maybe when they have done lord of the rings..they might secretly behind our backs make another game and not fucking tell us..like they did with Gears of war 2 and are still doing with kotor:the mmo
but BF did do some good battle modes but lets think about it both game coverd all the films what else could they do..the battles are based off battles from the film...

After playing BF 1, 2 and Renegade Squad, I have to say no to a BF3. The first was great (and I still play it daily on my PC - check my Xfire account), the second was "meh", and Renegade Squad defied the entire point of it all.
