My School has a sci-fi club that meets every wednesday and today they showed the star wars Christmas (life-day) special which the teacher in charge recorded on VHS. I personally thought it was awful and made no sense due to the numerous weird cuts to skit-like things and the overall lack of plot development but I was wondering if anyone else had seen it and if you have, what do you think of it.
Edit: Just thought I would give a little background on the movie. George Lucas gave the rights to make a holiday special to NBC in 1979 as well as the ability to use all his characters and ideas. After it aired Lucas bought back the rights and all the tapes and then he destroyed them because it was awful. Therefore the only way to watch the Movie is to find a VHS tape of its only broadcast. But why would you want to?
