Short of somebody actually inventing a lightsaber then the old republic won't be beaten by anything star wars this year, its a sequel to kotor and it is made by bioware, a combination that made what is probably the best star wars game of all time.

IMO, Battlefront was the only thing Starwars Games got right. The MMO is going to be like any other MMO, which is great if you like the standard MMO scene, but I haven't seen anything that portrays it as revolutionary.

1) They're games - I expect the stories to be delivered as such.

2) I nothing of these books anyway, I've searched plenty of times on Wookieepedia about what happens to them - no one's written anything. The most they get is that Revan never returned according to the Old Republic MMO site.

I'm still hoping for Battlefront 3. But out of these 2 The Old Republic seems like a game I'd play. I didn't really like The Force Unleashed. Nothing in that game except the graphics was any good. Boring story, boring characters, repetitive gameplay, extremely hard for no reason boss battles that were also boring. And what was with that level when you had to pull down a Star Destroyer? Jesus Christ that was hard and annoying. Why would anyone thing that is a good game design is beyond me. I'm not even slightly interested in a sequel.

yeah i mean hw can starkiller develop power wise when he can already move te death star using theorce if he really wanted to. maybe the eding will hav injured him n made him go back to te start. the tease does featreyda, tht leads me to believe yoda trains him up abit. itwll be inerstin to see where they go wth it all

I feel you're rather missing the point. I could have assumed that 'explanation' myself should nothing have been announced.

It doesn't explain what happened to him; what he found; whether or not he stopped what was out there; if the Exile found him, etc.

Force Unleashed is adding semi-cool story to the ep.3-4 zone, but the game is pretty much a giant quicktime event; you watch a movie whilst jamming buttons.

at points yeah but if u put it on the highest difficulty level its a good challenge
