My favourite films of all time.
I know the prequel trilogy is hated by pretty much everyone, but dammit I love me some Stah Wahs!!

Hmm, from the title of your poll, you are more likely to attract people who have seen Star Wars already. Those who haven't would be less likely to click on this thread.
Of course i have! I actually saw the prequels first so i'm inclined to like them. of course the originals are the best though. It seems to me that most girls i know haven't seen it
I don't understand all the prequel hate. Yes, they had their fair share of flaws, but definitely not enough to call them bad, or even mediocre.
^_^ They are just wonderfully made and fun films. Without a doubt.Return of the Jedi is definitely on my top 30 favorite films. though its actually just the original trilogy I really loved. It wasn't that the prequels were the worst films ever made-they were a good watch when you watched them the first time-but they were for the most part very poor ( "first" one was just flat out bad and Having Hayden Christensen was probably was crippled the second two for me. ) and no where near as good as the original 3.

I've seen all of them, in general I rate the original trilogy much higher than the remakes. I'm not impressed by some of the changes inserted into the originals retroactively either.
As much as I'm looking forward to the 2011 Bioware MMORPG, I have my doubts as to whether they will be able to do anything really good with it. Truthfully the MMORPG they are developing seems like it's going to be a giant exercise in Sith Fanboyism, and Jedi curbstomping despite the fact that The Sith are supposed to be so totally wiped out in this war nobody even knows what they are anymore come the timeline of the movies. Despite the way how this reads, I'd actually prefer factional balance... but this really seems to be going to the Sith in a lot of what I'm seeing and reading.
Even with the release of the Jedi character information, I can't help but notice that the Jedi characters still seem generic as all get out, while the Sith seem really fleshed out and awesome. Definatly showing who the designers appear to be favoring. I also have yet to see any full blow trailers (not gameplay videos) with the Jedi as anything other as victims. The last trailer distributed widely enough for me to catch it basically had the Sith and bad guys flying a ship into a building and cutting loose with a massive beatdown.

I love star wars. I saw the prequel trilogy in theatres at an early age and saw the original trilogy by both renting and watching on TV (Luckily they played the original, uncut versions of the films on TV). I reckon it's a great series. Not only is it entertaining as hell and just fun to watch but you can spend hours analysing the films, discussing the films and most of all enjoying the films. I prefer the original trilogy to the prequels and I'd have to say from the prequels my favourite film is the phantom menace and from the originals...they're all good.

Everyone should see the original trilogy. No exceptions. They are the greatest films ever made, and arguably the most influential, and absolutely must be seen.
Also, they should be seen in order. Meaning 4, 5, 6, then 1, 2, 3. That's how they were made, that's how they were meant to be seen. The original three are meant to be prequels, thus should be watched after the actual movies.

Empire Strikes Back is my favorite of the movies. I used to like Return of the Jedi the best because I was all about space ships when I was younger. But once I got older and was able to understand character development and see how this movie was much darker and whatnot, it became my favorite. Plus, I have a few gripes about Return of the Jedi.
A New Hope is great. It's not may favorite, but I like it a lot.
Theo only prequel I remotely like is Revenge of the Sith, but it's still not what its supposed to be. I just do not like how it was done. I could go on if anyone wants my opinion.
Hayden Christiansen's portrayal of Anakin is awful. He is such a *****.
