Though that said, I just watched the recent Vengeance trailer.


If ever there was a trailer that pushed me towards not buying it - this is it. Seriously what happened to you Kerrigan? You used to be a badass.
Of course, can't do a trailer without adding the frelling dubstep. Ugh.

Wait, are they just going to abandon the entire plotpoint they made in WoL and make Kerrigan lolmad again?

I know Blizzard probably are the most incompetent triple-A game storywriters I've seen, (aside from Capcom, mayhaps, but that is really a close one) but this is just ludicrous. Have they not a single clue on what storytelling is, and certain things you simply cannot do when writing a story?

To be fair though, after Wrath oh the Lich King, and especially the Lich king raid, I've kinda given up on Blizzard's stories completly, but this is just sad, how you can write a story this badly without realising it.

Hey Diablo 2's story was pretty good..... I enjoyed that... So was WC3

Starcraft has always been a Warhammer rip off....

Starcraft literally started as Warcraft in space, and Warcraft literally started as a Warhammer game. Blizzard tried and failed to get the license way back in the day.

The story I know is that Warcraft was going to be a Warhammer game but Blizzard changed a whole bunch of stuff Gamesworkshop disliked it they disagreed and support and license were dropped hence Warcraft. And Starcraft is kind of the 40k version of Warcraft, yes.

Amazed at how many people play SC2 for the story...I assumed it had long ago asserted itself as a multiplayer game first and foremost.

I amy be an exception, but i intesely LOVE RTS, but i do play singleplayer. i very rarely play RTS online. RTS isnt an online experience for me i just love to grab a cup of tea, relax and play me some RTS.
