Pretty much all covered in the subject title. The short story is that I only have enough in my checking account to buy one but I'm having a hard time deciding which. I've been a huge RTS fan since my first run in with C&C 3 and I love playing campaign mode but to be honest I suck at multiplayer BADLY and my computer is so bad I can barely run TF2 at a steady framerate. On the other hand hardware isn't an issue with Halo Reach and I'm pretty decent at Halo 3 Multiplayer, I may not be MLG material but I did manage to get the Recon armor and can hold my own in a ranked match. I'm probably going to love the campaign for either and do intend to buy the other one eventually but I need help deciding which one to buy now. Basically I guess it comes down to which multiplayer experience is more worth it, Halo Reach or Starcraft 2?

That's pretty much the equivalent of asking whether you want to eat an apple or an orange.
Which ever leaves you most satisfied.

Another quick question. How do I get rid of a topic? This one posted twice for some reason.

That is a very tough call. The good thing about SC2's multi is that it caters to new players with the different leagues so that shouldn't be a huge issue. Also, if you can run TF2 then you can run SC2 no problem.

As for Reach, I was really hyped for it until my Xbox got RROD for like the 3rd time so now I'm mad at everything Xbox.

Still, to answer your main question as to which multiplayer is "more worth it", I say Starcraft 2. It's tough to say why, other than I just really want to keep getting better at it more than any game I can remember of late.

Not SC2, i've used the guest pass for about 6 hours of gametime and if you suck at MP its not gonna be fun, and the single player is really meh especially on low graphics settings it looks like crap.

I'm heavily bias towards Starcraft, but from what you've said it sounds like you will get more out of Reach. Being under the system requirements can really ruin a gaming experience.

Are there any starcraft 2 demos out there I can use to check my system specs?

Do you like FPSes or RTSes more?
What do your friends like more as both are very multi-player.
Reach is a month away, I'm sure you can get enough money to buy both by the time it comes out.

Not likely. The jobs market where I live is pretty much dead for someone with no skills or work experience. My last job was a summer job that ended last Friday so no money is incoming for me. And to answer your first question. I LIKE RTSes more but I'm BETTER at FPSes.

Do you know anyone who bought SC2? If you do, they would have got a couple of free trial passes included in the box.
