Your system doesn't seem like it's good enough to run Starcraft 2. To be honest, I would say Starcraft 2, but you seem more of a Halo player.

hell is other people, get whichever you're not playing online.
I'm going to say the exact opposite. Replayability and getting your money's worth is multiplayer. Get whichever you will enjoy with friends and other people online the most. Both games are really multiplayer focused with a decent campaign (I'm guessing in the case of Reach, but I feel confident in that guess.) So, which one will keep you entertained the longest? The one all your buddies are playing all the time and that you can play with them.

Honestly a very hard decision. I've already bought SC2 and it's a GREAT game. But after playing the Reach multiplayer I'm very eager to play that too, especially with forge world. It's a tough decision but if you can eventually grab both that's a good idea.

My vote goes to Starcraft 2 because I got it recently, even though I'm not so good at RTS (multiplayer). I personally got tons of fun out of it, and I'm more of the likes RTS but is more impressive with FPS type. After getting Starcraft 2, I GOT BETTER.

Without a good computer, I would say go with Reach. A good PC is required to fully enjoy the experience. ("puts up flame shield")
If the ViDocs are any indication, Reach will be huge and should keep you having fun until you can get enough money for Starcraft 2. In addition, I have played/watched the entire campaign of SC2 and while it is still very good, it's not great. ("puts up second flame shield")

That's pretty much the equivalent of asking whether you want to eat an apple or an orange.
Which ever leaves you most satisfied.
Yes. RTS or FPS. Which rocks your boat more kajinking?

I am actually FPS guy, but still, I love SC2.

Starcraft 2 first, because the campaign is top notch.

Halo reach comes out on the 14th i think people have said so if you get a biweekly paycheck you should get paid in time to pick up reach if you make some allowances for it.

Starcraft 2 will be the superior game as a whole. But that means nothing if you aren't a big fan of RTS. It's comparing apples to oranges.

I'm going to say Halo Reach, after all, Starcraft 2 pales in comparison to other RTS games out there.

Seems like Reach would be your best bet. If your hardware has trouble with TF2 Starcraft 2 just isn't happening. Plus you have people who played the original for 10 years out there who will probably ruin the multiplayer for you.

Ummmmm u can't compare these 2 games, so just take which u think u like more as a genre, u just can't compare rts with fps, u have to be slightly retarded to go "well reach is a better game!"

my computer is so bad I can barely run TF2 at a steady framerate
how are you going to run SC2 then
My laptop can't play TF2 at a steady framerate, but I can play SC2 on the low settings without any issues.

OT: If your a huge RTS fan get SC2. I got SC2 on wednesday and I'm absolutely terrible at it, but still finding it very enjoyable (campaign and online), despite not being a big RTS player. From what I've played online the matchmaking system seems really good, the placement matches should sort you into a league representing your skill allowing you to get some good and even online games. BUT MAKE SURE YOUR COMPUTER CAN PLAY IT FIRST.

However, I will also be getting Halo: Reach because, come release, everyone will be playing it.

Starcraft 2 (specifically the Zerg version), no question about it - but then again, Halo never warmed to me.
