65 games, but it seems like most of them are just different versions of DOOM.

I have 30 games on steam, but only 15 installed. And all of them are on sale.

Personally, my internet is quite slow so I dont use steamm all that often. But if the game is cheap, and I want to play it, ill download it.

The only problem is have with steam is that it has to run while I play the game. Which would be fine if it logged in properly. Also, my copy of Half Life 2 through steam is a mess. Half the time it crashes on load. Kinda ironic really.

System is good, but massivly expensive and restrictive.
Massively expensive? TF2 is $20, and it was $2.50 during Halloween. I picked up Trine, World of Goo, and Cogs for $15 total last year. I got audio surf for $5. The list goes on.

Massively restrictive? If by this you mean you can't buy one copy of a game and play it with thirty friends then sure.

I dont mind steam but I think they overlook people with slow/ limited internet, If I wanted too I couldnt get left 4 dead 2 because aparently with all the updates its 10gb download, I only get 6gb a month
How are they overlooking you? If you know you can't download a lot online, why are you buying games online?

This is like me claiming expensive car manufacturers are overlooking me because I don't have $100,000 for a car.

I have 89 games worth £1051.62, best thing is I spent a fraction of that amount on my games because most of them were bought on a steam sale.

I love steam, it's very good.

Not very many. Most of the games on their I either:
a) have already
b) aren't interested in
c) can't be bothered to bug a parent to use their credit card when I can go to the store and buy the same game with my money

The games I have are:
Half Life (+opposing force & blue shift, didn't buy off of steam though)
Half Life 2 (+episodes 1&2)
Garry's Mod
TF2(uninstalled cuz it bored me)
Counter Strike: Source (only for models in garry's mod)
Left 4 Dead
Portal

Edit: Odd. Apparently I have spent $145.84 on steam games.

Also, I use steam for mostly talking with my friends. Most of the games on there look boring and, even though I played and loved Minecraft, I'm not really into Indie games. I mean, I know nothing about them, and most of the time, reading their info panels rarely sway me. I'm not a big fan of buying games online and installing them online unless I have to. If there is ANY WAY AT ALL I can go to a retailer and pick up a copy of the game I want, 9 times out of 10 I will go to the retailer.

I just got steam thanks to my new computer purchase, as of right now I don't have many games as of yet but I plan to expand my library

I probably have around 20 games, most of which I got for cheap.

Steam sales are horrendous. Ever since I got a credit card I find myself instinctively buying whatever is on really cheap, even though I only tend to play most of them for a couple hours anyway.

I'm at 131-132ish right now. I'm not sure on the exact number, but I do know my steam account is worth ~$2600. That should say how much I like the system. I'm quite a fan of the thing, and if DRM must exist, Steam does it right.

18 excluding nonsteam games. It's a great system, I just wish my parents were less stingy so I could buy more stuff.

I put all the games I actually own in my favorites, and it says I have 107 in there. Some are expansions, so probably closer to 90 than 107 but I still have a ton of games.

I have not bought a single game for more than 50% of its price (except for Call of Cthulhu, which I've never seen on sale past 25%).

Steam has such amazing deals, I got a game for -2$ and I recently bought a pack of 4 games for 18$ and saw one of the games in the pack for 60$ at gamestop :D

54 games.

I also use my brother's account for single player, lending me a total of ~90 distinct games.

I have 176 games and I love steam. It's got to the point where if a game is not for sale on steam I don't buy it. Steam so much more convenient so when your trying to get your games you don't have to spend 10 minutes looking for the disk or wait for a order to arrive.

My profile says 27 games, so that's the answer I'm going with. No point in trying to count out mods or DLC or whatever else.

I have about 25 games.

The good: I can easily get them downloaded on any computer I own. The sales are insane. The titles available often include really obscure stuff that's hard to get a hold of any other way. (The void comes to mind, as well as some older games.). Cloud based saves can be useful at times when you're like me.
Steam games don't require me to haul anything at all around with me. (As a laptop owner, that's a big plus; as is simply not needing to swap disks constantly.)

The bad: No internet = no games unless I'm very careful about setup. Again, a big issue for a laptop owner, especially when some games I thought were in offline mode actually had an incomplete 'update' recently, and have thus been temporarily crippled because I'm now in a location without internet access.
Prices when things are not on sale can be scary.
The steam UI/ game manager. It has to run while any steam game does, and sometimes it's a real annoying POS.
Region restrictions - Never experienced it personally, but, as a traveller, the thought that the games I buy ON THE INTERNET, could suddenly all stop working if I move, is a pretty nasty one.
By extension, the fact that it's possible for someone to remotely disable my games...
