Okay so steven blum is a great voice actor and has lent his voice to many a character over the years. So i select a few of the "hits" and its up to you to decide whos the coolest, favorite or best.
First lets get the obvious outta the way with these two

Two classic characters from two classic anime that still show on adult swims saturday line up. Spike a very agile space bounty hunter, marksman, pilot, and ex gang member and Roger, a gadget carrying negotiator who can also call forth a monstrous mech known as Big O when it is showtime.

Next we have Kazuma
Kazuma, an alter user who dematerializes matter and reforms it over his arm to make his shell bullet. Which is a giant fist that creates great force impacts and evolves over the series. Kazumas fist was piercing the heavens before Gurren Lagann made it popular.

Next is a more varied one seeing how he has voiced several prominent digimon characters ill allow you to take your pick.
but theres also Yamaki from Digimon Tamers
who was the first person to think maybe we should do something about these monsters coming into our world and leaving it to children with their own monsters isnt the only option. (at least he tried)

Next we have the wild swordsman Mugen from samurai champloo. Similar to the others listed, Mugen is strong, agile, brutish and headstrong when he wants something and passive and funny when he doesnt. Think Spike but edgier and like Kazuma but a bit smarter.

Next we have the laughing Man, nothing is known about the laughing man except that he has great hacking ability and wants change. But one may infer he is an avid reader and fan of JD Salinger and Ken Kesey.

How about a break from anime roles. Over recent years Blum has taken to voicing Wolverine and has somewhat become the go to guy for it like Kevin Conroy to batman and Mark Hamill to joker.
If you somehow dont know, Wolverine is mutant that has the ability to heal himself immediately and infinitely. Also he has sharp murder claws.

I debated what characters Id pick as there are still some I really like such as Heatblast from Ben 10, a rock-like alien that spouts fire or Orochimaru from naruto a snake-like ninja who seeks rare jutsu and mastering them and also a fanbase accused molester and pedophile.
And theres Leeron from Gurren Lagann......nah.

So who? Who indeed as we dont know who this last character really is yet. From the new installment of Avatar:(Legend of Korra) we have Amon
And thats all we know pertaining to his identity as of yet. He is a very dangerous individual in the world of avatar as he has and acts upon his ability to take bending powers away, permanently. It is assumed that he has a deep-seated grudge and hatred for benders from a past incident and it is no surprise he is the leader of the radical equalists movement and group. Having already held the new avatar in his hands, the only thing that stopped him was that he let her go as she might become a martyr but also claimed to want to save Korra for last and to completely destroy her at a later confrontation.

I have no idea, since I like to watch anime with subtitles, and I have never heard of him; however, my friend had the cowboy bebop dvds and he tells me the voice acting is really good in English so I guess I will vote for spike!

side note Azumanga Daioh a comedy anime ( ya it is a whole bunch of school girls but wow it is the funniest anime I have ever watched ) has some of the most impressive English voice acting I think, at least in the sense that the one girl that is from Osaka and nicknamed Osaka speaks in a accent in Japanese and is hard to understand is voiced by a HEAVILY southern accent in the English dub. that was a good call by the guys doing the dub there....

Korra is the only out of the group I've watched out of the group, and since Amon is an epic bastard, I choose him.

That voice. Oh god that voice.
He could call me a massive **** in that voice and I'll still get turned on.

Also, for one of this more softer tones:

Wait... He's Amon? Holy hell, how did I not notice him?! My god that man is cool.

Anyways, there's only one obvious answer:

But of those listed, I'll go with Spike.

Hey, Dicktits! Where's the love for this sunbaked asshole right here?

Given the options though, I'll go for Spike seeing as he's got such a smooth voice, is a great badass character and Cowboy Bebop was the show that got me into Anime in the first place.

To me he will always be the voice to Spike or Mugen. Still the other voices he did are cool.

Steven Blum, you say? Wait, not mentioning his part in one of the best JRPG's ever?
...
I do not comprehend. (Cookies etc.)

His work as Amon is freaking awesome. I mean all the voice acting in Korra is top notch, but his is brilliant.

I picked Amon because the only other shows I have seen are Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo, and I prefered both Spike's and Mugen's Japanese voice actors. I watched some Digimon as a kid but I can hardly remember it at all.

Also, Amon just sounds cool.

Spike's my favorite character that he's voiced, it's who I think of whenever I hear his voice acting. Mugen comes at a somewhat close second.

I haven't actually watched the English dub of Cowboy Bebop ever (nor have I see any of the other examples), so my familiarity with Blum's voicework mostly comes from video games - Grayson Hunt in Bulletstorm, Grunt in ME2/3, Garcia Hotspur in Shadows of the Damned, etc. Not to mention all the bit-part voicework he does: he's starting to beome the "that guy" of video games, only slightly less prolific than Nolan North because he doesn't get as many leading roles.

Edit: Holy crap, I just checked Wikipedia and realised he played Ludger Brink in my all time favourite game, The Dig, all the way back in 1995!

I voted Digimon, not because of any of the pictures you posted, but because he also does the voice of Guilmon.

Also, I am suprised you didn't mention Grunt from Mass Effect 2/3.

I think I liked him best as Sergeant Cyrus [http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Cyrus_1019.png], or maybe Techmarine Martellus [http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Techmarine_Martellus_7761.jpg]

I met Steve Blum at comic-con and he's a pretty cool guy. He's a comic geek too so that gives him extra coolness points in my book. As far as I can tell he appreciates his work on Cowboy Bebop more than any other. Spike pretty much made his career.

Love his work, but it gets tiring after a while hearing him in most games. It's like he's everywhere.
Come on, give some other actors a chance at VA in AA+ games.
