Blum is one of the best in the business, no doubt. Out of the list, I gotta give the edge to Wolverine, Mugen and Amon.

Why is every single character on that list, except for Wolverine, an anime character? I call bias, for no other reason than calling bias, and say Oghren.

Because Oghren. Oghren the most badass red-haired dwarf in modern gaming Oghren.
Well call bias, but he voices lots of anime characters. Hes also had a lot more videogame roles but a lot of them arent as defined as the ones I picked or he didnt voice them long or I thought they didnt matter.

Amons not anime.
Wolverine and Amon, then. It's still pretty funny how all of it is comprised of dub voices that most people never heard because they watched the original with subtitles instead.

Steve Blum is also Starscream in the most recent Transformers cartoon.

And he's AMAZING at it; nobody has given depth to the character like Blum.

I'm going to be unoriginal and say Spike. Then his work in the Digimon series. Did so many good voices (from BlackWarGreymon to Guilmon to Yamaki) PLUS he worked on a lot of the behind the scenes stuff. His voice was alright for Darcia in Wolf's Rain, but the Japanese voice was so much more mysterious and soothing.

Oh, in Sly 4 this year, Rioichi Cooper is going to be played by Steve Blum. Why am I not surprised he's playing Sly's JAPANESE ancestor? I see what you did there, Sanzaru. How many of you guys are anime fans?

Alright. Different people, different habits. People who actually watch dubbed stuff is something I've personally always been hard-pressed to find. Encounter someone who watches animes? It's always the originals with subtitles.

For me, its a very close tie between Mugen and Spike.

): But why no Jamie from Megas? He was one of the coolest characters ever, and nobody could have played him like Stevey B.

I definitely have to go with Spike. His voice in that role was just so superb. :3 Not to mention it's one of my all time favourite anime's. =]

Though I also did love him as T.O.M from Toonami! =3

I'm gonna have to go with Starscream from Transformers: Prime.

Not really a fan of his starscream, sounds exactly like his green goblin.
Though I remember liking the starscream from transformers animated.

DAWWWW HE'S SO CUTE! :3 Haha I'm strange and I find reptiles more adorable than furry animals. Take for instance the Crested Gecko. I'd show but I don't know how to embed. Look them up their are cute.

Anyway, my first taste of Steve Blum comes from one of my fav games: Activision's 1998 remake of Battlzone for the PC. A tank pilot game with RTS elements added. I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about.

I'm not surprised that Spike is getting the most votes but I went with Mugen because he's...well...MUGEN! (Don't get me wrong I LOVE Spike, he's totally awesome and I honestly think of them as a tie, but I can only choose one on the poll and since I knew Spike was going to win anyways...)

He's just such a bastard and yet you love him anyways. The drinking, the womanizing, the general "oh your want to kill her? okay kill her" attitude...and yet you never find it in you to hate him and you don't know why. And I say that a lot of it has to do with Steve Blum, the way he's able to make Mugen sound charismatic AND "just don't give a fuck" is simply amazing.

Mugen just wouldn't be Mugen without Steve.

Now I need to see if Samurai Champloo is still on Netflix instant.

EDIT: Samurai Champloo is not on Netflix instant, but Power Rangers Samurai is...-_- *sighs* Just...fuck....

Spike/Roger

Spike was probably the first roll I heard him in, but I love the whole 'Batman with Mecha' that is Big-O.
