While I wouldn't say that sex and drugs are the BEST in life, though they are fun, where the hell are you getting "ego, flaming, trolling, exploiting, competition, demeaning others, hate speech, anti-common sense"? What about those fun things that I listed is at all related to "hate-speech" or "anti common sense"? Who's being flamed? Who am I demeaning?DaHero said:This pretty much sums it up. We live in a society where drinking, sex, drugs, porn, ego, flaming, trolling, exploiting, competition, demeaning others, hate speech, anti-common sense, and forgetting about reality is what people think is best in life. If that's not a reason to be depressed, then I need to find another planet.SadakoMoose said:Drink a beer! Watch some Anime! Have Sex with a girl! Laugh together while you're doing it! Snort a line! Watch some Chikara Pro Wrestling! I'm going to go watch a dirty movie!
Having faith in Mankind
I've gotten to where I am today by clawing and fighting for every last bit I could get. My story might not rival the tales of the destitute, or the third world countries, but I gave up having fun so I could, somehow, climb out of the poverty line my family has been stuck in for generations. As I grow up, I realize now that I could lose everything I work for in one, easy step, or have it taken away from me because of some new legislation. So yes, I have things, but if I stop, I'll lose it all. I haven't got time to party any more than the movie heroes have time to bleed. Sure it makes me cynical and boring, but my family is relying on me.
Is it the pro wrestling I mentioned? Or the laughing?
These are just recommendations.
As much as people need voices or concern, worry, and determination, they also need a voice telling them to enjoy life while it appears to last.
