Poll: Stopping Power, Is it ruining the Call of Duty expierence?

*facepalm* It's THIS thread again, where someone jumps on the Modern Warfare 2 complaint bandwagon. If it isn't "unbalanced" perks, it's "unbalanced" weapons, or "them damn campers*shakes fist*".

People find a load out that SUITS THEIR STYLE. They are not exploiting glitches; cheating or hacking whatsoever. These features are provided in the actual game, and the player has every right to take advantage of these features. And what sort of shitty sniper uses stopping power, for Christ's sake? If you hit anywhere on the top quarter of the targets's body, it's a one shot kill.

If your complaint is that you're being killed frequently by people using stopping power, the fact of the matter is that you're shit; and so should stop bitching, eject the disc, return it and play some Hello Kitty: Island Adventure.

Rather than complaining, GET ON WITH THE FUCKING GAME. Stopping power really doesn't make that much of a difference, in my experience.

I mostly only use stopping power cuz I'm so shitty at FPS games that I haven't really unlocked anything else.
It's a bit redundant when you specialize in sniping though...
I've never been bothered by being killed online, I don't see what everyone complains about. It might be annoying, but some of my deaths have been so down right comical that I haven't cared.

I can't help but agree, the only classes that really use stopping power are medium-ranged sprayers.

I love Hardline, are you kidding? I always used that when I used to play MW2.

Its been awhile since I've played though but I always used either Cold Blooded or Hardline, I would keep a class with a stinger and Stopping Power Pro, but that was only for when I was killed by a harrier/helicopter etc and I would respawn with that class to shoot it down, then die pretty quickly and switch back to my other class

The PC version is just inbalanced, glitchy and filled with shit. Who the fuck programmed the assault rifles to have zero recoil? It practically makes them automatic snipers and renders snipers useless. What's the point of having a sniper if an assault rifle can do its job, AND BETTER! Such a worthless piece of shit multiplayer. Akimbos, heartbeats, thermals. So much bullshit... Less is more you idiots!

IW fucked up bad this time. I can't believe they even charged us more money for, promising "quality". The hit detection is fucked, the hit delay is scary (many times have I killed someone, reloaded AND THEN his body falls down...). I just don't understand. Did they even try it for PC? Probably not, they just ported it and now that they have their money, they don't give a shit... Wow. Of all the developers, I didn't think they would sink that low for money...

woah calm down dude, its really not a bad game, my friend fucking rapes and has nearly every time 1st or 2nd place and all he uses is the intervention, so obviously you just need to adjust or something


OT: its not horrible...gets annoying, i think it should take you longer to scope with having stopping power, any 1 v 1 where you see each other at the same time your basically doomed, i dont use it though, love cold blooded, no bloody scope or killstreak is gonna get me, its gotta be all your skill to kill me, plus i run around with a stinger on my back to rape those killstreaks, nothin better then takin down the ****** copter

I use it because I personally like it better than the other Tier 2 perks.

my party uses cold blooded on everything except for sniper classes. If you have skill you dont need stopping power. Its people's choice what they use so no, i dont think SP is ruining the COD experience.

Off topic: coldblooded is really underused. You might as well be invisible if you have that on.

stopping power, martyrdom, painkiller, last stand, final stand, n00b-tubes, knifes, snipers, campers, killstreak rewards, akimbo rangers, akimbo 1887s or akimbo glocks.
I've heard lots of whine about all of the above and more, and it has made me come to the conclusion that people are just too stupid, proud and whiny, to realize that they're not good enough to pwn everything and everyone all the time, so they start blaming all sort of shit for their lack of überness.

Damn right. Yeah these things can be annoying at time but it just makes it more satisfying when you take them out. You just need to figure out a counter class and stick with it.

i run with marathon pro, hardline pro, ninja pro, is stopping power even worth it considering i play HC, its prettymuch 1-2 shots per kill and knives are completly redundant, if i do play non hardcore its usually demolition in which case javelin + bomb = 30 kills.
