As a bisexual male whom is a bit fuzzy myself, I'd have to say... I like chest hair. I don't think barbaric-levels of hairiness is attractive at all, but a nice tasteful amount can be quite smexy indeed. Especially when coupled with a small beard, one that just sorta covers a bit of a guy's chin and not much else.

I mean, in the end having a hairy chest vs a non-hairy chest is not a deal breaker at all to me, but it can admittedly help.

I personally love chest hair. But some people (like myself) have almost none of it, so I can't say it's a big factor.

Also, there is of course a limit. If I can't see the skin anymore, it's time to do some manscaping.

I like beards, and hairy arms. Although I don't want my face in the fucking savannah, a little scruff on the chest would never hurt.

My better half doesn't grow chest hair, and while I definitely don't mind the smoothness, as long as it's not extremely overbearing (where'd I put my machete?) I'm sure I wouldn't mind if he had some.

O hairless feminine failures of men
Come bask in the glory of my magnificent manly fuzz!
Like that of the majestic lion, or the noble bear
In that it is both awesome and causes mortals to cower in fear.

I'm reasonably hairy, to a degree that friends of a similar age to me very rarely match. I have never known the ladies to complain, and one ex in particular liked it for the manliness factor. Unfortunately, the testosterone seems to also be causing my hairline to start receding, already, making the proper metal mop an impossibility.

There was a general trend in college that the 'popular' guys were vaguely effeminate, preening dickholes. I was extremely pleased to have a decent amount of man fuzz just 'cos it meant I was a hundred miles away from being one of them. But anyway, when I'm talking about 'feminine failures of men' I'm on about them, not any other non hairy or feminine guys.

I don't really mind one way or the other. I'm not picky.

I will say, however, that manscaping is a very time consuming activity.

My girlfriend like hairy chests but not beards. For some reason I find that hard to comprehend despite the fact that it's probably a rarely common preference. For the record I do have a hairy chest but I can't grow a beard :(

For me it depends on the person it's on entirely.
Say a well toned and muscle bound male, they can pull off the "Grrr I'mma hairy chested (but not tooo much) male man!" but if they are a relatively skinny guy then personally I think it just looks kinda silly. Like if a thin lolly-pop got dropped and rolled behind a couch, before being found a few days later with a collection of fluff gathered all over it.

Personal taste though I prefer smooth guys, because some can be "as smooth as the bonnet of a porsche!" Hehe.

I'm a little put off by guys with full-blown bushes growing on their chests, but I really don't mind a little fluff. In fact, I find the few stray curly hairs on my husband's chest to be adorable.

OT: Straight male, minimal chest hair. Best of both worlds, really.
What the fucking hell did I just watch?

This thread isn't aimed at people like myself, but I wouldn't go so far to say that chest hair is universally abhorred by women these days. I do get the impression that its fine in moderation. Of the girls I know who've spoken about it, chest hair spilling over your collar is probably not going to be considered pleasant.

As for myself, I'm probably averagely hairy, with a modest amount on my chest. I do for some reason have a ferociously hairy backside though. Deal with it.

Just in general, men seem to be getting wussier and wussier and more girly as time goes on.
Men that are becoming more and more feminine is funny to me. Sorry?

Literally physically weaker than their ancestors.
Scientifically proven. I don't exclude myself from that. A regular run-of-of-the-mill farmer from ancient Greece physically outclassed a modern Olympic athlete. Part of the reason humans rose to the top of the food chain is because human men used to have INSANE levels of testosterone that left them as essentially naturally roided up, which is why there was so much violence and rape throughout ancient history.
We are waaaaaay weaker than we were (more sane though). But apparently some more than others.

And they seem to be trying to make up for it by acting like bigger and bigger douchebags.

I feel like I'm a big friendly German Shepherd living in a sea of obnoxious-as-fuck wussy little loudmouth Chihuahuas who think they're hot shit.
This is what I have a problem with. Being a douchebag is a trait that IS automatically worse, and by the gods, douchebags are everywhere nowadays... More and more by the year...

Ieyke said:
I have no interest in being Alpha Dog to them, since I generally know I'm top of the food chain.
What, do you want me to apologize? I don't filter what I say on The Escapist. Sometimes having your humility filter turned off makes you sound like a hypocrite. *shrug*

The most brilliant attack on 90s rap videos ever.

Watch the whole 10 minute video, it's totally worth it. Fantastic track, too.

Only twenty seconds of chest-hair adoration, though.

I have done as you suggested. That was excellent. And unsettling. I mean, I like 90's rap there's a lot of good stuff in there, but the first few minutes of that video were hilarious. I didnt watch the whole thing though, the music itself does nothing for me I'm afraid.

I also watched 'Come to Daddy'. It's OK though, I wasn't planning on sleeping tonight anyway.

You covered both of the Aphex Twin/Chris Cunningham videos. The rest of his aren't so terrifying (or well done).

Sad you didn't finish the video, though. Ah well, maybe the next guy.

I may revisit that last 3 minutes, once I've watched some kittens or something to restore my constitution.

It's worth it. The music changes, and a champagne bottle ejaculates.

...Because 90s rap videos.

"Manscaping" is arguably the best phrase I have heard this year. Thank you for that. <3

OT: I like some chest hair, but if it's like a tangled forest, it's a bit of a turn off. I like my men to be relatively well preened. D:
