So last night, out of boredom, I decided to have a bit of a binge. Don't think it was a good idea but eh, I'm Irish, I have a culture to represent.
As a result, I came up with this thread idea, just namely detailing what kind of stuff you do when you are buzzed or just totally drunk.

Me first: I spent most of last night playing Heroes of the Storm and being one of those annoying bastards that can't shut up about how drunk he is.
I got quite a few laughs out of my team, even if was just Vs AI games.
I also tend to talk to or at myself a lot, one of my key boozing memories would have to be the time I spent like 20 minutes talking to myself in the mirror of a dance floor wall.

So, what about you Escapists? Any crazy stories to share?

Just an exaggerated version of my normal self -> Happy Drunk. Unfortunately I usually end up throwing up a couple of times and getting dehydrated.

Drunk me is mostly just normal me except a bit more talkative and prone to laughing at things which really aren't all that funny.

I voted Happy drunk, but the truth is I'm both a happy and a sad drunk. I start by getting loud and goofy, I have a great time, I love everybody and laugh at everything, but as soon as my BAC begins to drop again I get very quiet and withdrawn, and can't stop brooding on all the shitth things in my life that await me once I sober up.

Drinking is a strange experience for me.

Various things to be honest. If I'm not caffeinated properly, I become Sleepy drunk. Take me to a club and I become Sad drunk. But usually I'm happy drunk, the kind of person who will get more talkative (even more than usual), lead conversation, draw everyone's attention and introduce themself to new people and crack jokes I'm aware are super cringy even when I'm blistered.

I'm a lazy drunk. I get a bit more chatty, a bit more giggly, but leave me on my own in a quiet place and I will nod off as soon as you know it.

Also I like eating lots of chips while smashed. I have memories when I was a student and I'd go to Wetherspoons and keep ordering more bowls of chips as the night went on.

I got bored and wandered away from the bar. Someone had to go looking for me and found me after a while. Then I threw up in the garden and three rooms of the house. Basically, everybody paid for it but me. I got tipsy in a few online games and mic. sessions as well, if you believe the stories.

I've been told repeatedly that I'm a very nice and fun person when I'm drunk. I tend to get very enthousiastic about meeting anyone I know slightly, if I haven't seen them for more then five minutes. One thing that stands out is the time I spent half an hour telling everyone in the same bedroom(it had like 8 bunkbeds) how much I loved and appreciated them. Good fun.

...spend-thrift drunk. Those things you know you'll NEVER buy...yeah I buy them when I'm drunk. Stupid 1-click Amazon. And stupid Kickstarter having the insanely rare but interesting project.

I used to be a happy/very giggly drunk. I'd roll around on the bed a lot as well, and I think it may have made me more talkative, but I definitely laughed and giggled more.
But I don't drink anymore. Not since the people I was on holiday with thought I was hilarious after one bottle of wine, so it would be a good idea for me to have one and a half more.
It was not a good idea. I don't drink anymore.
There's other stuff, but it probably isn't suitable for sharing here.

I was an angry, fighting drunk in my teens. Once I hit my 20s I became a very happy drunk with occasional mood swings to sad.
Last time I got drunk was almost a year ago, all I remember is playing GTA V with a friend and not being able to drive at all. Many laughs were had.

Last time I got super drunk I lost complete control of my strength and shattered a glass or two in my hand and bit through a few very hard plastic cups.
Then demanded my nearly as drunk friend give me a bath while I hit on his sister.
It was a fun night.
Until it ended.
Then came the sickness.
Whoa boy, I'm pretty sure I came close to dying of alcohol poisoning that night xD

I've been all of the above at different times.

Happy-drunk-Silv has expressed his appreciation for his friends, given hugs, laughed like a madman.
Sad-drunk-Silv has locked himself in the loo to be alone.
Reckless-drunk-Silv has ignored "do not cross" signs.
Sleazy-drunk-Silv has propositioned people pretty damn awkwardly.

They're all a bunch of bellends, says sober-Silv.

As for things I've done while drunk, last summer I was working away from home, and therefore had basically zero social life for the entire summer which nearly drove me mad. Before I returned home, there was one last night at the city I was currently in, wherein I knew the town would be full of students partying and bar hopping as the university term had just recently begun. I went to a bar and just started chatting with a bunch of total strangers and went to several bars with them, ending up at a nightclub where I had the best party feeling I'd had in years. It was a blast!

...at least until around midnight where my memory stops entirely. I woke up the next morning on my hotel room's floor next to a stain of my own vomit. Thank god all my keys and cards were still on me, and my account balance was fine. I spent most of the next day still drunk and never saw any of those people again. On one hand it is kind of a funny story to tell, but the fact it was the best party night I'd probably had since high school, and I can only remember a part of it really angers me. Well, at least I learned that 4 shots of tequila within like 30 minutes is too much for even myself to handle.

Happy, sad, talkative, boisterous, antagonistic, vindictive... the list goes on, but I think it's safe to say that I am generally more social once drunk.

Pretty much anything but sleazy in any case, my libido shuts down when under the influence due to feeling "not normal" and thus being afraid of regretting anything I might do. I am not a bold drunk.

I'd like to think that I'm a happy drunk and so I voted that but in reality most people that had an opinion about me drinking had a negative opinion so I don't drink anymore.
I mostly liked to play videogames alone while drinking, which when you say that out loud is kind of sad. In my mind it never was sad because I didn't feel sad while doing it, but it's a tough sell to claim that it was positive.
Though on a positive sell for my old drunken, lonely nature: I used to fall asleep really easily while drinking. Well, at least it's a positive if you're at home already.

Anyways, a drunk story:
The one time I got thrown out of a bar was because I passed out peeing at a urinal and I don't know how, but I somehow passed out standing up or leaning against the urinal. Gross. I only know what happened because this is what my GF told me the next morning when I woke up in a chair in some strange apartment which turned out to be my GF's ex-GF's apartment.
I got totally plastered in that bar because she was trying to remain friends with her lesbian ex and that lesbian really hated my guts.
I passed out on a chair in the living room and the girls shared a bed. I had a flight to catch that morning, so I really didn't think about that until later. But even if they did mess around while I was passed out, (which I doubt, this is real life not a pron-hub video) who cares?
I hate to say it, but it's a double standard. I wouldn't care if she messed around with other women, it's even kind of hot. I'm not with that chick now, so it is kind of hot to fantasize that she did mess around or that I just missed out on some hot, needy 3some. (Not that I would have been able to get it up, considering how drunk I got that night)

To be honest, the biggest question I had from that night was who put away my dick after I peed if I passed out on the urinal? I had on skinny jeans and I didn't wake up with my dick out... so someone, hopefully me, put that thing away but I've never been able to confirm that part of the night.
I had button fly skinny jeans on that night, so it must have been me? I can't imagine someone else buttoning up my jeans...

I was never much of a drinker up until recently. I used to despise alcohol with a passion, as it made people stupid and do stupid things. Some texts I got from drunk friends asking me to come out for a night on the town just made me sick to my stomach; others were complete gibberish that even autocorrect wouldn't be able to decipher.

But recently, I've been stuck up shit creek and alcohol has been a good friend to me. Just as a little aid is all, a tipsy feeling I suppose. It's Scotland, alcohol is in no short supply, twelve year olds probably drink more than I do here. But I guess from what I remember I usually get mood swings. I'll be perfectly happy one minute, then break down crying the next. Usually happy though.
